    Nothing special on your birthday

As much as we spend, maybe your name in the tv with a happy birthday, a candy bar and a water. Something for your bday to feel special. Maybe an upgrade if available, or half price on something in the hotel.

Only stayed for one night while driving back to California from Utah. We got a good rate as an MLife Pearl member plus we stayed on a Thursday night. The hotel and the room were beautiful and clean and there were hand washing station and sanitizers around the casino floor. Most of the casino bars were closed due to covid. The only 2 things that were not so great during our stay was there wasn't any hot water when trying to shower. Waited 10 minutes and then tried again and let the water run for 5 min until it got warm. No big deal since we were only staying one night. The other thing is the self parking garage is quite a walk. If you have a lot of luggage this could be tedious. Good thing we only had one item each!

I had always heard that Aria was the best resort so I booked it. It was the opposite. Absolutely GHETTO. Low life scum everywhere. And I couldn't get away from the smell of marijuana. (I don't smoke it and I hate the smell.) The hallways and parking garage stank of it, as did half the people walking around in the casino. I was expecting a high-class, top-notch experience. It felt like I was at the roach motel. NEVER GOING BACK! Separate from that, the check-in process was a pain in the butt. I had to figure out where to drop off luggage, park, and check in. After 6 hours of driving, I didn't want to waste another 45 minutes figuring that out. Tiring and frustrating way to begin my stay...

Wanted to impress my plaything as she was use to Palace Station and she was overwhelmed. Never seen anything so fancy. Tried to take her out for lunch but she said she was out of her league in such nice places. Oh well back to Excalibur unless I'm with the wife.

Before we always stayed at the Bellagio, this time we changed to a top floor suite at the Aria. Stunning rooms with a great view. great Hotel with outstanding services. Parking at arrival was a bit of a challenge.
