I should not have to wait 15 minutes in the check in line only to be told that I am not a VIP member and can't talk with a person. I had to get out of that line into another line to use a kiosk that would not work so I had to ask for help. It waisted much of my time during check in and was frustrating. I like talking with a person during check in and out and shouldn't have to be a VIP to do so! Outside did not have clear UNLOADING ZONE signage so I knew where to park while I unloaded my vehicle. The hotel has very nice King bedrooms and the bathroom was excellent. The location was excellent. Inside the resort and shopping mall is easy to navigate. I would stay at Planet Hollywood again.

Rooms with a view of the strip are wonderful especially the north strip view of the Bellagio fountain. We enjoyed our stay overall. Had a couple incidents where we couldn’t get in our door because the card reader was not working. We contacted maintenance and the service desk several times in the first three days. Finally they upgraded us to a suite with a panoramic view for our troubles. We thought we were being “punked” because after we moved the door key reader in the suite did not work as well. Again we contacted the front desk and security to let us in the room and have the key reader changed. When we went down to the pool area we rented a daybed got our things settled went to use the safe, however it was not working. The hotel gave us for complementary poolside drinks. We were OK with it as we were enjoying our time with family. Overall the hotel is a perfect location on the strip to be able to walk both the north and south end of the strip.

Aside from needing housekeeping to vacuum crumbs from carpet, room was fine. Location of hotel and ease of walking to other venues very good. Amenities (restaurants, shopping at Miracle Mile) also very good as well as room and hotel decor. Will go back once more entertainment is available -- limited space and booking.

We were very pleased with our hotel room. It was spacious and clean. We had a view of the strip. Nicely decorated rooms and grounds. Any noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms could easily be heard. The pool had music playing with separate pools for 21 and older patrons and those with families. The gym was spacious with plenty of hand sanitizer. It was in the back of the spa and like the pool , far to get to from the rooms. This property is attached to the Miracle Mile shops. The casino had a variety of games and slots, however odds and options are better at MGM, Excalibur, Golden Nugget and Binions. The restaurants closed at 10 pm because of Covid which made it difficult to find a meal after shows at night. Taxi and Uber are easily accessible. There is NO enforcement of masks here or enforcement of the 4 people per elevator. I had to speak up and tell patrons our elevator was full when more than 4 people tried to get on it. Casino is filled with smoke. I did not see a non-smoking area which is the main reason why I played slots elsewhere. Housekeeping staff are all very friendly and efficient. You have the option not decline daily housekeeping if you choose.

Nice Rooms but Front Desk Issues

This hotel in my opinion is the Palms Hotel and Casino of the Strip. This means it is posh with a lot of young (20-30 year olds). The rooms are nice and chic. The rooms have a mini fridge, nice art throughout, and comfortable beds. The window appears panoramic until you open the curtain and find 1 small box window. The strip view was nice. The bathroom has very small double doors which is pointless as we needed to open both doors to enter and exit. The problems - As a Diamond member of the Ceasars Rewards Club... I found it unacceptable that you cannot call and reach the front desk before arriving to the hotel. I tried calling 3 different times and was on hold for 20+ mins when calling the number on google.com for Planet Hollywood. I wanted to let them know I would be arriving late = around 3 a.m. but no one ever answered the phone. Once I arrived my reservation had been canceled and I was charged a $50 no show fee which ultimately was reversed and removed. Then the front desk had to rebook my reservation and waive the $30 early check-in fee. How is checking in at 3 a.m. early? In my opinion, early would be arriving between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and wanting to get into a room when check-in time is 3 p.m. Anyway, this created a problem with my free play as part of my offer which was over $200 & the main incentive for me staying at Planet Hollywood. I had to wait until 8 a.m. when the rewards desk was open. I went around 1:30 p.m. and it took until after 4:30 p.m. to get it fixed. This was ONLY after I went to the VIP desk near the cashier to inquire about it myself. Within 5 mins it was fixed but I had already been to the rewards club twice. They claimed they could see the offer but the clerk and her supervisor was unable to fix it. They sent the problem to a VIP Host supposedly but 3 hours later it hadn't been taken care of. This is NOT how you treat A Diamond Member. Each time I stay at a Ceasars property there is some kind of problem regardless if it is in Las Vegas, Arizona, California or Lake Tahoe. I have lost my patience and don't think I'll be patronizing Ceasars properties in the future.
