Sahara Las Vegas - Great Stay!
Sabrina P on Apr 20, 2024
We stayed at the Sahara hotel for 5 nights in April and thought it was a great hotel. We arrived at 1:00 in the morning and checked in right away. We had originally booked in the Blanca Tower, but they moved us to the Marra tower. Our room was clean and modern. Only issue we had was we were on the third floor so our view was of the concrete building next to us, but on the plus side short elevator rides! I’ve read of other hotels with casinos having a smoke smell in the room, but our room had no smoke smell, and the rooms were well sound proofed with no noise heard on any of the nights we were there. For anyone renting a car, they offer free parking. The parking garage is confusing, but at least it’s free. For anyone not renting a car, the monorail stops right at the hotel and stops at 7 locations on the strip, ending at the MGM. Tip: if you get off the monorail at the MGM and looking to get to Las Vegas Blvd: follow the signs to ‘New York New York’. The MGM is huge and there aren’t many signs to get out to LVB, but following the signs to NYNY will lead you out there in 10-15 minutes (depending on how fast you walk) The only down point could be the location, depending on what you’re looking for. Sahara is on the North end of the strip so you are away from the hustle and bustle and it is about a 5k walk to the MGM at the other end (or as mentioned before you can jump on the monorail). All in all the Sahara was a great option for us in a quieter part of the strip. We felt safe the whole time we were there and walking around the area as well. We would stay here again!

They advertise as no resort fee . They do charges resort fees . Very disappointing in that aspect. Otherwise nice hotel.
