Would not return

Do not recommend. The setting is spectacular but the resort is terrible. We checked out a day early and considered leaving earlier. We were next to a family that fought and due to the hvac system connectivity and thin walls, it felt like they were in our room. The evening events run late and very loud.

Beautiful night on the outside patio! Eli was very attentive and our food and wine was excellent! This was our 2nd night here and both were amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or food, celebrating my birthday as well as our friend’s anniversary!

Wonderful location, friendly staff…AVOID TIMESHARE PRESENTATION!

gleng1634 (Canmore, Canada) on Apr 19, 2024

Friendly, clean and wonderful place. Deserves a 5 star rating but I cannot because of the intense sales pressure to buy their Timeshare group…wow..AVOID AVOID. If you want to lock in a vacation there or at sister properties that fine, but do the math on years committed and MAINTENANCE FEES. When the deal is only offered for that moment…leave ….we did. The rest of the place is wonderful and everyone not related to the timeshare part are delightful. Amazing golf course.

Sea of Cortez ATV tour with Josué

PixelPackingMama on Apr 19, 2024

We took an ATV ride with Josué of Danzante Tours. After making sure we were properly wearing our safety gear, Josué familiarized the drivers with the ATV controls and made sure we were comfortable riding before we moved on to more challenging areas. This is our third ATV tour activity at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto and the first time we got to see beach areas that would otherwise be difficult for guests to access. We stopped a few places to let the ATVs and ourselves rest. One stop was at an old rock-walled cistern that is no longer in service. What an amazing and expansive view of the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California)! Josué told us about the islands and Parque Nacional Bahía de Loreto. The ride can be dusty and bumpy. That's the nature of ATV-riding. Despite that, it is an activity well worth repeating.
