Myself and my family have just returned from a 10 day stay at the clarion. We couldn't fault anything! Rooms were cleaned every day. Fresh towels. Pool area was clean. The gardens beautifully maintained. We had the full breakfast included in our stay which consisted of everything!! The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and friendly. Free shuttle to the Disney parks numerous times a day. Great location for everything. Cannot wait to return!!!

So I arrived on this past Thursday to what would be the worst hotel stay in my life. Having a background in hotels myself, I am very critical with how good or bad my stay should be. My best friend was already checked into the room since Wednesday, so I was arriving to join her with the festivities. First the issue of WiFi. It was horrible. It logged me off multiple times and it was rather slow. Even when I put in the correct password, it still logged me out. Even though I was there for a casual trip, but I still had some homework and studying to do and with this didn't help. Next. Housekeeping. Like their comprehension skills are horrid. My best friend and myself requested no housekeeping before we left to get food and even the next day. The first instance, after we came back from getting food, our room was cleaned. The Saturday when we were going to check out, housekeeping knocked on our door and barged into the room while we were sleeping. at 9am. Like that is outrageous. Next the staff was somewhat not knowledgeable about some of the features of the hotel. We called to request a shuttle to Hollywood Studios since it said to call at least 24 hours in advance, and we got the response of "just show up" ummmmm that's not an appropriate response fora hotel staff member to give to a guest. Also on that particular day, the shuttle bus was NOT on time, and even once we arrived to the park, we asked was the drop-off spot, the place to pick us up from. The response was "just follow the schedule." Also having a tip jar for the driver with a notice of "you don't have to tip but it would be nice if you do" is rather tacky and tasteless. The room was okay at best. It was rather small. The bed was decent I did get some pretty good sleep but the pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Also the TV size and the channel selection wasn't the best either. I was definitely not impressed. Finally the one thing that really set me over the edge was my package that I had delivered to the hotel. On this past Friday around 11am before picking up my food order, I had to swing by the front desk to get the last piece for my outfit for Disney that night. First, the lady who was in the room was absolutely rude. I thought I could go in and get my package since I didn't see any staff in the room and there was a guest in the room. She instead fussed at me and shooed me to go wait in line. That was absolutely rude. Then I get to the front and I go to get my package and she says "That will be $5." I have a confused face like ummmm I'm a guest, why am I paying to pick up my package. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel where I had to PAY TO PICK UP MY PACKAGE. That's outrageous. $5 for a package -____- come on that a mess. Like that's a scam. In the years that I've worked in hotels, I've never had to charge a guest to pick up a package. Like its a quick "come up" Sadly I have to give a rating because otherwise, this wouldn't get any stars from me in all honesty. You need to improve your team. Your service sucks.

My parents first brought me to this holiday when I was 5 years old. I have just returned for my 15th stay and this is all because off JILL. What an amazing person this lady is, making every visit so special. We returned for two 30th birthday celebrations and having such a warm welcome from Jill makes the occasion that extra bit magical. More beautiful memories made and will hopefully be back again soon for Jill's great service and infectious personality.

    Staying since 1990!

Having stayed here on many many occassions since 1990, I can honestly say its the best for value and location. The staff are friendly and helpful. What I like is that you do not pay a silly resort or car parking fees - which annoys me due to already spending money. As the hotel is super close to the I-4, you may hear the traffic passing if you are on that side of the buildings. If you are noise sensitive, ask for a car park facing room. Our stay two weeks ago, was not as great as it has been previously as our room was on the back, by the I-4, super noisy and even the bathroom was dirty in places - high up in the shower areas. Not as great as it has been previously. Our stay this week in 4509 was far better. The pools are great and the splash area for kids. The rooms have fridges and microwaves, so you can store water, drinks and snacks, or heat them up. There are eating locations within a short walk too. Easy access to the outlets and Disney. The hotel offers transportation to the parks too - I have not used it, but I have seen it. They have a bar, shop and a place to eat on site too. The staff team are great and friendly. Best way to book this hotel is directly with them or a part of a package deal (from the UK). Staying again in a couple of weeks!
