    Noisy AC Vent

Outdated rooms and rattling AC vent kept the family up all night. Pillows were flat and lacked stuffing. Family had a good time at water features. Jets in lazy river could us a boost. Staff at Spa were friendly.

Okay, let's start with really bad challenges and horrible experiences: NONE! There... no that's out of the way, let me illuminate the perspective guests on the OUTSTANDING location this is. Highlights - HUGE shout out to David the Concierge, that man is a true gem, the real Mccoy, the genuine bona fide deal. If you sit with him for even 20 minutes, you'll receive a WEALTH of knowledge on the city, where to eat, what to do, the hotel, hours of things, He'll even crack a handful of well-timed jokes. And just so I'm not leaving out experiences, I really enjoyed my conversations with Cory as well. Mike at the Bell Desk was crazy friendly in giving me a golf cart tour of the property (It's massive, and I still managed to get lost more than a few times.) We had a really tasty couple of breakfasts in Rico's (First morning my sunny side up eggs were cooked to PERFECTION with the buttery yolk, seasoned whites, crispy caramelized edges, so I was super excited to try the eggs benedict the following day. To my surprise, the eggs that were ordered 'soft' came out way overdone, but my top notch waiter, also a David, took it to heart, emphasized, and made it right in a most timely of matters.) Dinner Friday night at the hole in the wall was fun. Beautiful setting overlooking the lazy river, tasty frickles, gigantic portions (Took leftovers and got four servings out of one order). The lazy river was super relaxing and pro tip... DO IT AT NIGHT. I can't imagine warm water in a screaming hot 100 degree day, but lying on an inner tube looking up at the stars, gently bouncing off walls and floating around was just a pleasant recipe for fun at the end of the night. At check out, we discovered an erroneous charge for the pool bar, but the friendly front desk agent was quick to make that disappear. All in all, there were a few mistakes (It happens), but this property lives up to the Hilton standards of making it right. I'd say the only real drawback was that I only had two nights, but that's on me, not on this dessert paradise. If you're destined for Phoenix, forget all the other hotels and motels and make this your spot.

I came here with my family & we stayed in a 2 bedroom King Villa. This was fabulous, the place was like an apartment with a carport, 3 bathroom, plenty of room for everyone to sleep, beds were very comfy & it was across from water park. The Water Park is for little kids and the lazy river is very lazy (if you get my drift) but we adults still had a good time. If you have small children’s than this place is perfect, if you do not have small children I would not stay here, I would def find a more relaxing less kid friendly more resort style hotel. But this hotel was great for the price and what it offered and the staff was fantastic.

Large property with many activities, but old and tired

This is a large and well-appointed resort, but it's age and lack of maintenance is a hindrance to getting a high rating. The water theme park is too compact for all the kids, etc. that frequent it. The restaurant staff (Rico's) does not care if they're providing good service, it seems.

    Great pools, relaxing atmosphere.

We spent Memorial Weekend here and it was a very good experience. The place was entirely sold out, but we didn't feel too crowded; there was enough space for us to be comfortable. The kids enjoyed the lazy river area, and us adults opted to relax poolside in one of the regular pools with drink service. At the end of the weekend as the place began to die down, we enjoyed the fire-pit seating area outside of the restaurant near the lazy river, and we sipped on cocktails into the night relaxing and enjoying our stay. Will definitely come again!
