Had an amazing time this past week at the Melia in Punta Cana....everything was top notch and our concierge, Juan Adbricoles was outstanding in providing anything we needed. Highly recommend this all inclusive resort, and definetly level up....the opportunities are amazing. 10/10 recommend. Cannot wait to go back!

Melía Punta Cana Beach Resort truly is a beautiful resort with very friendly staff members who work *very* hard to make sure you have the best experience possible. They care to you hand and foot to make sure you don't have to lift a finger. We found ourselves obsessing over laying by their huge community pool. The beach was also adjacent to the pool for the opportunity to lounge there too. The food was delectable with some opportunities to splurge and pay a small additional extra fee for the chef's specialty. The cocktails were plentiful and delicious as well. While the weather was hot and humid, which made it perfect for swimming, the bay breeze also made walking around the resort enjoyable in attempt to burn off some calories. The Spa was probably the highlight of the stay. With the opportunity to swim in a heated pool, relax in a Jacuzzi, or unwind in a sauna and/or steam room for free. They also have added message benefits and full spa treatments (for an added cost). Our concierge, Juan, made sure to check up on us daily, not just through texting, but also making sure he personally followed up with us every day. He managed all our reservations and made sure requests to the room were met (i.e. a bottle of wine or champagne waiting for you). He was very friendly and informative. The downsides: our room did have a leak that constantly made our floor wet and our fan stopped working, which was needed for the hot nights. The drawers of the dresser also kept sliding open, which had to be propped closed using a folded paper towel. Lastly, the persistence of Melía representatives wanting to sell you a membership to their global market was overwhelming and became a huge source of stress for me. We agreed to listen to a presentation for 45 minutes that ended up being 3 hours of our day gone. The persistence to get us to sign up for their membership went extremely against their "wellness resort" idea - we came for rest and relaxation, not business. The fix: just say "no" and walk away from anyone who tries to get you to sit through a presentation or tries to sell you on an excursion that you don't want to do, especially if your intent is to go and relax and focus on yourself.

The resort, beach, pools and staff were amazing. Juan Adbricoles did a fantastic job. Anything we needed he took care of from checking in to leaving. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. Shuttles run every few minutes making getting around very easy. Will definitely go back again.

We had a superb holiday at Melia Punta Cana Beach hotel, shared with some family. With Yamel’s help we had an exceptional experience, he was incredibly helpful in ensuring we had the best time we could, you couldn’t have wished for a better concierge. In fact nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him, he was always there for us!
