Having stayed at a number of all-inclusive resorts over the years, I must say this one is a rare jewel. Never have we had such friendly service. Small, well maintained and beautiful. The pool area was fantastic and the entertainment was excellent

    Nice a little over priced

I like that this wasn't a big resort I think between 400-500ppl it was easy to meet people and to stay in touch well your there. The beach is great with the white sand but if it's windy you can't really swim in the ocean it's definitely not the nicest water for that area. Great service by all staff. As a smoker you can't smoke on your little patio or by the pool. They have a designated area for that.Food was good but, not the best I've had in Mexico. It's a short drive to Playa which will cost you around 20.00 one way. Entertainment was good. Again nice but, I think over priced...

This was our first vacation at Secrets Capri (or any of the other Secrets). We arrived at ~4:30 and greeted with a big smile, cool washcloths and a glass of champagne. The check-in and resort orientation took very little time (within a ½ hour we were in our room). The room was clean (nice) with lots of Marble (slippery when wet). The bed, pillow and linin were so comfortable!!!!! The room cleaning and mini bar services were also outstanding! The resort is on the small side (291 rooms), so it’s easy to get around. There are 5 ala carte restaurants and a buffet restaurant. The restaurant we liked the most was Portofino, Antonio Martinez is the head chef, and Adrian is his sue chef (Adrian cooked us 2 special dinners that were out of this world!) (thank you both!), both are so amazing! The food was so awesome I ate there 3 times in 10 nights. The service at Portofino is just as amazing with servers like Daniel, Jorge and! Buffet and the rest of the restaurants were good as well. We ate at the buffet for breakfast where Karina would greet us. Freddy made the best eggs and omelets (always greeted with a smile) Omar and Enrique served us well! The entertainment staff was awesome again, with Rodrigo, Christopher, Youshi, Noemi and Geo, they'll keep you as busy as you want! Make sure you take the walk down the beach to the lagoon (around 9:30 am every morning). Service around the pool was also amazing... first thing in the morning and through out the day you had Pool concierge Daniel helping with laying towels out, and getting us cold water (amazing young man, so polite and helpful), putting up umbrellas to getting water...anything you needed! Beatriz gave the best message I've ever had! Bar service is amazing: Big shout out to Rosendo( mi amigo), Jose, Jenry, Clemente, Filmone, Sosa, Orlando, Teresa, Quetzal, Ivan, and Alberto. If I missed anyone I am truly sorry! A special thank you goes to Rosendo, Mariam, Rigoberto (manager Oceana), Joaquin (awesome waiter at Oceana), Antonio and Adrian for making our vacation very special! See you all next year!!!

Title should tell you there's something special about this Secrets. We've been to over 35 resorts up and down the coast, including all Secrets (except The Vine) and this is one of our favourites. Older, retired and travel to the area 3 or 4 times per year. We like the option of a bit of "life" in a resort - no "morgue on the beach" for us!....lolol As others have stated, if you want modern and high rise, this isn't for you - older, mediterranean style buildings and accommodations with a smaller footprint. Generally great food (IMO), drink (specify liquor brand) and entertainment day and night - the best entertainment team of any resort we have visited (or not, if you like to sit in peace and quiet). The usual impeccable, friendly service from most staff members. Lovely beach and entry into the generally calm, clear water (outwith sargassum season) with plenty of palapas and the resulting towel game, depending on time of year! We are totally beach people; however it's a very nice pool area with both a lively and a quiet side. We do tend to like and request the 5th floor in the main building and book a junior suite, sea view. This time we were allocated 4th floor and were a bit disappointed in the view being partially blocked by the palms; not the friendliest check-in experience either, despite being 4 time repeaters........however, HE must have been having a grumpy day and all others were their usual smiling selves! We will return this year at some point to enjoy the "Capri Experience"!.

This was our second time at Secrets Capri and quite likely not the last. Some improvements since our first visit and overall a terrific resort. We liked the smaller size, it allowed for attention to service for the individual guests. Nothing was lacking, food still awesome, the sparkling wine is some of the best around. The entertainment team works very hard to keep the guests occupied if that is what they want. You will be left alone to read your books or play facebook on your phone if that's what you want to do. The beach was devoid of seaweed this time and is still one of the best beach/ashtrays in the region. Odd how some people think that instead of using the provided smoking stations, just dash your butts deep into the sand...and leave them there. I must have picked up a dozen of the discarded butts every day. Mindless inconsideration. Overall, this resort is great value for what you get. Big thanks to Rodrigo the concierge on the south wing. Very helpful for anything. And to Hugo the room service guy. Like all the staff there, always a friendly smile and genuine care. Already looking forward to our next visit this coming December. Oh, one more thing...take a walk down the beach to Tres Rios and enjoy the natural lazy rivers and lagoon. Well worth the 20 minute walk.
