I really enjoyed my family's stay here recently. I was right by the beach and woke up to the most beautiful sunrises that along with the tranquil setting makes this a wonderful place to stay! Everyone was so accommodating and welcoming!

Paradise point is an amazing botique hotel hidden on its own island close to the beaches of San diego. I travel often to San Diego and really enjoyed my stay here at Paradise Point. It was an wonderful stay with my family and young kids. Check in: a bit stressful. We checked in early and our room was not ready but we were able to have pool access and the front desk would call when keys were ready. We did not receive a call so had to wait on line with many others that were just checking in. They should have keys ready at a concierge for those that have already checked rather than wait with others. We did not like the location of the first room which was very far from pools and restaurants. The front deskndid an excellent job of accomodating a room change and were exetremely helpful, kind and understanding. ROOMS: bungalow style walk in. Very clean and scattered throughout the resort.Housekeeping was great. Room had a hair dryer, fridge, shampoo/conditioner/lotion. POOLS: there is a main pool with some entertainment, great food service and drink service. My kids had a lot of fun there. We also had a smaller pool near our room and there was a fire pit. The gift store sold smores kits which were fun to use by the fire at night. GROUNDS: the hotel is located on the bay and has its own private beaches. The swimming in the bay is not as nice as the ocean but Mission Beach and Pacific Beach are a 5 minute drive away. The gardens are beautiful and there are so many peaceful spots to sit and watch wildlife, birds, turtles...it really felt like a tropical vacation. FOOD: restaurants were great and the waitstaff is wonderful. I also love that for room service you order durectly from the restaurants in the resort and food came promptly and hot. I love San Diego and this hotel will definitely be a go to spot. I cannot wait to return!

    A place where people care!!

What did amazed me with my stay at Paradise Point and I had 9 days to experience it was their culture. A culture throughout the entire resort based on caring for their guess comfort. You can tell the staff were proud to be part of that operation. It was in their heart. Good on the management who were able to truly establish such culture. For something to stand out like that the trainning had to be more than just word but a way of being. Thank you Matt L. From Calgary, Canada

Property was nice and rooms were comfortable. Food at restaurants & gift shop is priced really high so be prepared to pay a lot for basics. Nothing within walking distance so you are stuck having to pay high prices. $25 for breakfast, $35 for dinner at Barefoot Grill.
