We stayed for three nights in the Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn. The food in the club was great. The breakfast is a continental breakfast ( with custom made omelettes on Sunday). The appetizers in the evening are awesome, thanks to Reggie the chef who prepares hot appetizers. Jackie (the concierge in the club) was the best!

First time here and we were not disappointed. Staff is incredable, room was nicely put together. We even splurged for Club level which I highly recommend. The Club level food and beverages were great. Our standard Club level room had a great view of the courtyard and the boardwalk. If your going to do Food and Wine right. This is the place to stay.

We were familiar with this resort, as we ate at the boardwalk when we stayed at the Yacht Club three years earlier. The location is perfect for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, both a short walk or shuttle bus away. Our room was located in a secluded area close to the quiet pool. It was clean, well appointed and spacious. The only flaw was the location of the coffee machine on top of the fridge, which made it awkward to fill it with water. The decor of the lobby and hallways had a turn of the century charm of the old classic boardwalks, with paintings, furniture, knick knacks, etc. to evoke the era. The entire resort grounds were impeccably maintained, with plenty of trees and greenery. The Boardwalk itself had a wide variety of eating options, several stores, sports bar, and a dance club, with free entertainment on several occasions. The ONLY complaint, the ONLY flaw, was that there is no direct path from the first floor to the rooms on the same level. You had to either take the stairs or the elevator up to the second floor, where the lobby is, and then go back down again further along the hallway. It took a few days to finally get our bearings! We were able to take advantage of the discounted price that Disney was offering for the time we wanted to go. Resorts like this are usually out of our price range. All in all, a very pleasurable experience, and highly recommended.

    You can't beat the location.

This trip we planned a lot of our time at Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. It was great to walk to both park in the morning. We were exhausted in the afternoon and hardly had to wait for the boat back. Room itself was a good size, except the bathroom that was on the small side. and it was great my kids each had their own bed. My bed, however, needed a new mattress. Large divot and lumpy. The room also smelled of mildew and that is very much like a budget motel on the Jersey shore. Also, when we opened the sofa bed, a shirt popped out. Surprise! The rest of the room was very clean and we had no other issues than that. We could also hear our neighbor's conversation through the connecting door. Every word. At one point I opened our side to make sure their side wasn't open. It was that clear. Having to go to the boardwalk for dining was a slight inconvenience as it rained heavily one night and the room service menu leaves much to be desired. Much of the quick service food on the boardwalk is much like what you would find at a fair. We enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of seats even when some were taken up for hours with towels and not people. The bar was decent, but again, the food menu was mediocre. All staff encountered was friendly and accommodating. I have no regrets, but I may try Swan or Dolphin for location next time.

This was our first stay at a Disney Deluxe Resort. The Boardwalk was very nice. The layout was a little confusing at first, but we eventually figured it out. I agree with other reviews that the hallways just go on and on and on. It makes it a tad frustrating after long days spent at the parks. We found the pool to be on the small side. The convenience of the ferry and the short walk to EPCOT was great! The walk is a lot longer to Hollywood Studios, but it sure beats the long bus lines any day. Besides that convenience, I'm not sure I'd pay the higher price to stay deluxe again.
