With the announced closure of the Mirage Hotel and Casino next month I am grateful to have visited before the property is transformed into the Hard Rock. This hotel truly was spectacular and has a beautiful 1980s “moonlighting” tone to it that I will treasure forever. I will always remember the volcano. Just a spectacular resort.

Very clean room and casino

Eileen R on Jun 03, 2024

Very easy check in, very clean room and the food and all staff were very friendly and pleasant. It was nice to spend one last time at the Mirage. We were on the 10th floor strip view. Housekeeping was friendly and serviced our room daily. We had breakfast every morning at the pantry and it was very good. Otoro was wonderful and snacks was convenient and good. Didn’t care for the pizzas we got at California Kitchen. We won money every day in the dollar slots (0ne arm bandits) and quarter game king machines. The sports bar was fantastic! The bartenders were fantastic! I wish I could remember their names. Drinks were very easy to come by both on the floor and at the bar. Brad was great too! Hope you all come back when Hard Rock reopens! Could not have had a more wonderful trip!

Room with a view

Stephen B on Jun 01, 2024

Lovely hotel, bit dated but they know that and we knew that prior to arrival and booking. Staff pleasant and happy. Overlooked the strip and the volcano ??so free nightly shows if we were still in the room! Breakfast in Nero was brilliant and plenty

Checked out the Casino

Indyinin (South Bend, Indiana) on May 31, 2024

We wandered the strip and checked out 7 or 8 casinos the few days we were there. I didn't realize that the Mirage's days were numbered when we went in mid March. The entry was nice, with the tropical plants and water. The casino itself was dated. The ceiling was low and the carpet dated. It was cool to see it though as my parents stayed there back in the 90's. they usually had gone to Vegas on the cheap, so staying at the Mirage was a huge step up for them and mom loved it. I'm glad I got to check it out for myself. Oh, and I won nothing, lol.

Nice place

Kathleen S on May 28, 2024

We were under the assumption that it was Hard Rock. We didn’t know that they weren’t fully transferred from the Mirage. They did have the Unity system in place. Room was ok nothing special. No perks except parking and no resort fees for an icon cardholder.
