Fantastic Hutton Hotel Experience

Jeff!!! Food & beverage director went far beyond the call of duty to make us feel like the most important guests in the hotel. We’ve stayed there several times, but he was incomparable. He is an absolute invaluable asset to The Hutton Hotel. As always, our experience with the entire staff was superb and we highly recommend our #1 place to stay when we visit Nashville.

We made a last minute reservation and had amazing service throughout our stay. The front desk person, Tay, and the valet, Alazar, were an amazing help!

Nice hotel great staff very friendly and helpful. Good location just under a mile to get to broadway pubs and bars all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We didn’t eat at the hotel but had cafes near by which were good. I’d recommend staying here and if returning would stay here again. Nashville is good

Awful, Fell Far Short of Expectations

1. We fell for it. This location is inconvenient & a trek through trash & dog poop & blight-ridden streets over the interstate to get downtown. I'm not opposed to walking, but it should feel safe and be, as your website says, "just steps" from famed Music Row. Hotel management conceded they should offer a shuttle service, and if this is added in the future for not only Music Row but other neighborhoods, it would enhance the experience. (Uber is very expensive in this town.) 2. At the time of booking up until our arrival, the hotel did not tell us that they were under construction. We understand that updates and remodels are necessary. However, upfront communication and a small gesture to compensate for this inconvenience would have been appreciated. 3. Housekeeping did not clean our room on the day after we arrived. We returned to our room at 5 PM. We got ready for dinner and had to ask the front desk @ 6pm. We were told that our door indicated "Do not Disturb". We did put the sign out when we heard housekeeping knocking on doors for entry around 8:30 AM. We removed when we left the room - we were at the Johnny Cash museum at 9:10 AM. Shouldn't housekeeping circle back later in the day instead of assuming the occupant wishes DND for the entire day? 4. After 6 PM, when out dining, Housekeeping did come by and made the bed + put out clean towels. They did not take used glasses or replace with clean glasses. A bag of trash was left behind. 5. Providing water bottles to weary travelers on a daily basis would be great. That way, we had something we could take with us as we ventured outside for the day, as there is no convenient store around the hotel to purchase water. Management noted that water is available to all guests in the lobby with plastic cups, a water and ice machine on the guest room floors, and Mountain Valley spring water available for purchase in the guestroom minibar. Providing complimentary water on a daily basis has been our experience at both 4-star and 3-star hotels. 6. The clogged shower drain: The morning after check-in, I took a shower and much to my disgust, the water backed up around my ankles. Makes you wonder when the last time the shower was cleaned. My husband informed the front desk on the way out, and to housekeeping's credit, the shower issue was addressed while we were out. Still, the idea that a 4-star resort includes clogged, germ-laden showers does not reflect well on the Hutton. The hotel credited us $60 for the amenities charge. They then offered a free stay if used within 12 months. Unfortunately, their gesture fell far short of the level of service from a 4-star hotel. 7

Great Welcome

Great location confortable rooms Great check in and the service was friendly. Questions were kindly answered. Chandler in valet helped right away and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at ease! Will be back and look forward to it!
