My wife and I took a vacation to this resort after looking at the reviews. Some positive some negative the usual. So we said the heck with it and took the trip here. Now this place is incredible, the scenery, the beach the pool. It was so peaceful when we arrived. We automatically thought we made the right choice. What made this place even better was 3 people in particular. First was Tony, from the moment we all met, he was friendly, kind and respectful. His positive attitude and personality made us feel comfortable and confident. He was the 3rd person we met on day one, but made the most impact on us. Second was Santos, this man went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, happy and well informed of the area and things to do in town. He works in the buffet and was always on point with our coffee and tea. Made sure we always had a table clean and ready for us. He made us feel like family and treated us as such. Last was Yesenia , she made sure our room was clean, bed made and always with a smile and positive attitude with each greet. These 3 individuals made us feel at home and with family. They made this trip so worth it. I definitely recommend this resort, but I recommend more you see these 3 individuals, they take great care of you . Be prepared for the weekend guests from the area and different parts of Dr. They get day passes on the weekends and it gets a little loud but mostly Friday and Saturday. The rest of the week it’s pretty quiet Also bring bug spray with you because the mosquito are out of control, maybe it’s this time of the season that we went. My legs and arms look like I was their party hall lol. The good of this place out weighs the mosquitos . But this place is definitely recommendable . We will be going back in the future

We had amazing time ?? we always go for our anniversary?? and they made it very special for us. The staff very nice !! we always come back to the same hotel. The staff are amazing and friendly , the hotel is very clean and the food is fantastic. Thank you to the whole team?????? in special to Perla, thank you everyone????????????????????

The Resort is very beautiful and rooms same too after that, The pool is very dirty and very crowded from locals and make it very difficult to have access to the bars because you have to go through all this drung local people same story at night show. About the food Breakfast was very good. Lunch Dinner and Snack bar buffet was very poor, The food was over cooked in point to not be eat it. At the grill all food trays where empty all the time and you have wait until cooker have the mood to cook (Most of the time Cookers talk each other and did not care if the food trays are empty) and that make it chalenge to find grill meat, so if you like grill meat its not the place for you ! Puerto plata beach are with garbage all around and It doesn't make you want to walk around.

Pros- Beautiful resort- clean, lots of things to do and the friendliest staff. Beautiful rooms with everything you need. Huge pools and a private beach that is well maintained and felt very safe. We didn’t have kids with us but there seemed like there was a lot of options for them. And there’s plenty of bars! Cons- I didn’t particularly care for the food but I am a picky eater and it was included so definitely not a deal breaker. And there’s no lack of it! Make sure to book reservations for the Italian and Japanese restaurant as they have limited days/seatings. The staff that books the excursions can be pushy but you just have to be firm….i would recommend doing a couple though- especially monkey land and ocean world. The city tour was ok but you can get a cab and go yourself. The city excursion take you to all of the shops that they are obviously friends with or getting commissions. Overall, it was still an amazing time & place and we will return.

This is my first time at this hotel. The food, the service, the staff and the ameneties were top of the line. I really recomend this hotel. The animation guys were the best especially, Batman, Wifi, Justin Bieber, Salami, and Maria. Thank you to this crew. I really appreciate you guys.
