I had a terrible experience with this hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel I originally booked, the AC Hotel in Clearwater, I was informed that I would need to be relocated to a different hotel, Courtyard Marriot, something that was never communicated to me beforehand. This was already unacceptable. I was promised a refund due to the inconvenience, and I’ve now been told multiple times that it was issued and that I would receive an email confirmation. I never received any such email, despite being told on four separate occasions that it was sent. When I called to follow up, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes and never got a clear answer or resolution. This level of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and poor customer service is completely unacceptable. I’m still waiting on the refund and clear communication. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property and book elsewhere.

I booked a reservation on April 13th for May 7-13th. I received two confirmations by email. My credit card showed the pending charge the entire time. My Bonvoy app showed my reservation with confirmation the entire time until I arrived at the hotel on May 7th. I even completed the online check-in 2 days prior. My credit card was charged for one night the morning of our arrival. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told by the lady at the front desk (who was very helpful) that the manager had cancelled our reservation because our credit card declined which is untrue as the charge was pending until the day of arrival and then we were charged. I have left a message for the manager and have not heard back. I contacted the corporate office and my concern will be forwarded to said manager. All I want is my money back for the stay we were charged for but the manager cancelled on us. It was very disheartening to arrive from out-of-state with luggage on our 20th anniversary to be turned away and told our reservation was cancelled. We had to find other accommodations quickly, so reached out to Palm Pavilion Inn who welcomed us on the spot and is right next to the beach with excellent amenities! We will never book at this Marriott location ever again and suggest you avoid it as well until a manager with decent communication skills is operating this hotel.

The valet at the courtyard Marriott is amazing. The desk ladies are all awesome. The room was huge and had 2 60 inch tvs. The room was immaculate and we overlooked the beach and pool. Great restaurants within walking distance. Shopping is so so if you are a shopper! But lots of beach stores.

Adrian and Richard and the entire valet crew at the courtyard Clearwater beach were AMAZING and super friendly and knowledgeable! They were courteous l, careful with the cars and also giving us experiences and things to do in the area. I would very highly recommend them! Thank you!!

This is a great find a couple of blocks off the beach and the main strip. They have a rooftop bar on the 8th floor and nice pool with floats on the 4th floor off the main lobby and bar. Rooms are modern, beds and pillows comfortable. Great view. The parking valet, Jonathan Collin, especially, took great care of us.
