Travel requirements are often evolving and can vary between the location you are departing from and your chosen destination. To ensure you are prepared for all travel restrictions and visa requirements for your journey with us, use our Destination requirements tool. When you enter your itinerary, vaccination status and travel dates, the tool will provide specific information customized for your trip.

Requirements to fly

Travel looks a bit different since before the pandemic began. Ensure you are aware of and equipped with everything you need before you board your flight, including proof of vaccination, mask requirements and check-in guidance. Our requirements to fly instructions will help you get ready.  

Testing resources 

Different destinations may have different COVID-19 testing requirements. Once you’ve determined your test requirements for each flight in your itinerary, including your return trip, WestJet's partnership with AZOVA can provide all of your COVID-19 testing resources including antigen and molecular testing options. You have a choice between self-administered or in-person tests prior to departure both in Canada and most of the destinations WestJet serves.
