    I want to start by saying we travel to Cancun often and this is the first resort we have said we would love to come back to. From the moment you walk in the resort is absolutely beautiful and everyone is very attentive. We had great service the whole time we were here, Alberto and Martha by the pool were outstanding. Mario our butler on the 27 floor was very attentive to all of our needs. Angel with entertainment made sure there was a great atmosphere and lots of fun going on. Cesar in the indoor dining was great every morning. From top to bottom this resort was outstanding and we hope to come back soon when it is fully open.

    10/10 - Would definitely come back!

    We had an absolute great time at this resort. We travel a lot and this is one we said we would definitely come back! Alberto and Martha at the pool provided amazing service!! Mario the Butler was very attentive. Angel with the entertainment was phenomenal and extremely nice. Everything from the food, drinks, rooms, service and cleanliness was amazing! We can’t wait to visit again soon!!

    Angel from Activities was amazing! He made us feel great and made the trip to Secrets awesome! Thank you. The pools, waitstaff and food are all awesome. We upgraded our room for premium access and loved the extra bar, upgraded food and exclusive pool.

    We determined a long time ago that we aren’t all inclusive kind of people. So.... keep that in mind. We only went here because you can only use a beach when at a resort. Everyone hyped up secrets. We were disappointed. Maybe they weren’t up to their par because of COVID. Arrived early on a Saturday. Couldn’t check in early (which was fine). Couldn’t find a cocktail anywhere before 11. It appeared bar service was 11-11 daily because of COVID. We sat at the pool and ordered from the pool menu. The hot dog with bacon was the best lunch we found there. Tipping didn’t seem to sway the service. Room service wasn’t 24 hour right now. The room was beautiful. Mini bar stayed stocked. We liked Heydy in the sports bar! Also Miriam at the “lobby” bar was very talkative and friendly. The first night we tried dragons (restaurants rotated which was fine). We ended up having apps and leaving because the service was SO bad. The dumplings were good. Sushi wasn’t really good. Also they didn’t have the full menu, understandably. We left and went to the steakhouse. Was impressed they have a filet. And it was delicious as well as the mash potatoes and chimichurri mushrooms. Service was great there. We went back the second night too. Octopus was on point. The tuna tartare was really gross. Breakfast was decent. It’s all individual servings. Except hot food. Someone serves that to you. You can also order from your waiter. That’s how you get bread too. The coffee bar was nice for fraps. Shout out to Erika at the concierge. We took a taxi to puerto Morelos and my husband left his phone in the taxi. They tracked the taxi driver down and got the phone back. The beach was way too rough here (maybe just the weather) so we never got in.

    So, Wasn’t allowed to eat in two out of the three restaurants because I don’t have pants at no time in the reservation process do they tell you those are needed. The gym is closed, No initiative was taken to move some of the exercise Equipment could be used room service took over an hour. Beach is closed and not being cleaned up by the community so you have all of that grass and debris all over the beach. Concierge was exceptionally rude. Room service took over an hour to get food delivered and the selection was limited, how can tacos take an hour LOL. Walls are kind of thin so you can hear if someone’s yelling or fighting as one for a couple was doing with the banner on their door that said anniversary. I was so frustrated with the stay that I left after the second day of a seven day trip. Here’s the worst part the hotel assured me I would be refunded my money and they have failed to even contact me or provide the refund I would say had they refunded my cash I wouldn’t have taken the time to write this review but since they haven’t that should demonstrate to you what kind of management and staff you are dealing with
