    Timeshare Scam

It was nice visiting Allegro/Occidental hotel, but please never attend one of the timeshare that is offered at the property. The timeshare is a SCAM. Please never sign in to buy anything while vacationing there. We have made a mistake in buying the timeshare and we have not had the opportunity to use it because we still have to pay for the same price to stay at the hotel even though we already have the Allegro/Occidental Vacation Club membership. We have reached out to the individuals at the property with the request to be released from the contract and forfeit the $15,000 that we already paid into the membership, but we have not heard back to resolve the issue. I will continue to go on to other social media platform to warn others of the TIMESHARE SCAM practices. Please, keep your money and stay away from the Timeshare people at the hotel because it’s a SCAM. They take your money and you’re left with paying the maintenance fee for the rest of your life. Please say no to buying Allegro/Occidental Vacation Club membership because it’s a worthless club membership. If anyone has any questions, please contact me. I am thinking of finding enough people to file a Class Action Lawsuit against the vacation club.

I agree with everything Jessica. L said in her review .. Allegro was a wonderful time spent with our family (all adults). The front desk staff Zarely, Gabrielle and Rashid were always so helpful, informative and friendly - thank you so much for all that you did!! And to the young chef who always got me more bacon when I got to the breakfast buffet .. thank you for your smile every time. The buffets and restaurants were always clean and well presented.. my top 3 would hands down be the ribs, the homemade bread and all the salad fixings. The sand, ocean and sunsets are breathtaking, it's hard to pull yourself away!! I will continue to dream of our time spent here for years to come. I can't wait to return - thank you to all who make the magic happen!!

Can't say enough good about my stay at Allegro! Best part besides being with awesome friends in a beautiful location with great amenities, was the people! Everyone, from the restaurants to bars and gardeners to housekeepers, were extremely hospitable and that's what it's all about, right? Especially all the staff at First Club, the Activities poolside staff, and Yoga instructor. ( Freddy, Anna, Karina, Luis, Irving, Valentin, and Michelle) Lots of activities and entertainment too. "Enjoy Life" is on the front of the hotel and I truly did at Allegro...for 3 weeks, lucky me!!! Go here, you won't be disappointed!!! :)

We travelled during March Break. Our trip was cut short by two days due to Covid 19. The resort was spotless clean, pools were clean and nice temperature. The food was fantastic at the buffet, and the Italian a la carte was superb. Huge food portions for an a la carte. The beach was clean and swimable. The hotel staff was always friendly. and eager to please . The bar closest to the beach was very slow and always took preference to serve hispanic customers first, being in line means nothing. The other bars were very efficient. There is nothing within walking distance other than a small botique across the road. A great place to relax and enjoy the well manicured grounds.

Allergo Resort on Cozumel Island in Mexico provided an amazing getaway that I won't soon forget! I loved every minute of my stay, as did the 6 others I went with (family and friends). This review is long but informational for anyone interested in staying at this resort... Resort~ Direct access to a beautiful white sand beach, with crystal clear waters. On site pools, bars, hot tub, daily activities and entertainment. (Volleyball on the beach was a hit). This resort never seemed crowded which was really nice, an ideal size with all the amenities less than a 5 minute walk apart. The staff at Allegro were very friendly and accommodating, a special shoutout to Gabrielle and Zarely for outstanding service! Rooms were grouped in smaller buildings and clean- I'd recommend a second floor room (balcony) and away from the night entertainment. Great sunsets on the beach, right over the ocean. There was some wildlife on the resort including iguanas and coatis. Food~ There is a buffet available all day, always lots of selection and many tasty options! On site there are 3 a la carte restaurants (Mexican, Italian, and Japanese) which are all delicious, make reservations early. I would highly recommend trying the taco stand across the street during your stay, easily accessible and delicious. Alberto's restaurant just a short walk down the beach is a great spot for a dinner off the resort, try to go when they have live music. Location ~ Being secluded on Cozumel Island is a real getaway. The island is small enough to explore and easily navigate. A bonus of Allegro's resort location is the car rental hut, taxi service, shops, and restaurant across the street- many of the other resorts would require a trip to town for any of these. An airport right on the island cut travel time. There is a bustling town center with lots of shops, as well as several shops and restaurants scattered along the shore of the island. I highly recommend renting a jeep to explore the island. We brought our own snorkel masks and water shoes (recommended) and drove around to try different spots. Stopping at Elpescador was a highlight of our trip offering a great snorkel spot right off the beach. I would highly recommend Allegro Cozumel to anyone looking to getaway, I sincerely hope to return one day.
