Not the worst but...

the beach is very very small, 15 palapas for 345 rooms! During our stay the beach was not accessible before 8h00. The lobby is not a lobby it's a hotel front desk with a couple of seats. The buffet is good but very small. We appreciated that it is a smoke free hotel and beach!,
Going more downhill every year

Still love Cozumel and would love to like this resort again, but it keeps going downhill. One of the major reasons we go to this resort is the beach volleyball, and the volleyball was under construction and unavailable all week. As was the swim up bar and the pool near the court for 4 days. There is no food anymore in the Bikini Bar. There is no bar open at the theater. The food in the sit down restaurants was more bland and tasteless than ever. The cheese for the nachos is runny and tasteless. All of the things that used to be good are either no longer there or not good anymore. Extremely disappointed. I hope they step things up or we will not be back, and we have been going there every year for the last 20 years.
