Great views!

Unique fairmont experience with cabins rather than traditional hotel rooms. Room was slightly cold at night and due to COVID 19 only in room dining or outdoor dining was offered. In room dining breakfast arrived cold. Dining outside at the hotel was excellent. Spa was excellent. I would go back but would not order in room dining again.
Wish I could give it a 5 star

Let me start by saying this hotels property is absolutely Breath taking and if you are paying for just that then this is the place for you . We arrived for a long over due family holiday and when we arrived we were somewhat disappointed to find out our room didn’t have ac but that’s okay the view made up for they very hot room however the disappointment came when we order room service for 2 meals and 3 drinks over $110 which I don’t mind paying however when you get mediocre if that food it stings a little. The eggs Benny came with over poached eggs and resembled something you would get at a gas station and the omelette wasn’t any better... I recommend if your staying here make arrangements to eat elsewhere
Great visit despite COVID restrictions

We stayed at the Jasper Park Lodge from April 16 -19, 2021. Firstly, the pool was closed, and we were not allowed to eat inside because of COVID. They have no control over that. The room was nice enough and the bed and sheets were great. Further, the bathroom was small but new and beautiful. The fridge in the room did not work, but they brought a new one right away. The biggest problem with the room was that it was too hot. I called the front desk and they sent someone to check it, but they said they could not fix it and I should open a window. It was 24 - 26 C even with the windows open. It made sleeping difficult. We ate at the on-site restaurants three times. Great service and the food was good. I recommend the Sugar Shack Chicken sandwich. The weather was beautiful on the patio on Saturday and although it was cold on Sunday the fire table kept us warm. Sometimes a higher end hotel can have a pretentious vibe, but that is not the case here. Everyone was really so friendly, and the dress is casual. Overall, the location is what makes the JPL so special. Walking about the lake first thing in the morning, lunch on the patio looking at the mountains, watching the deer eating the grass make for a unique experience. Be sure to do the hike around the lake. It is about 4 KM and easy, but the views are spectacular. I had a great time even with many of the amenities closed. I highly recommend it.
Comfort in an uncertain time

Our room was in main building with a beautiful view from a balcony. We were able to order take away to eat in our room and although the food is probably prepared exquisitely, nothing appealed to us for dinner or breakfast.
Amazing Weekend Getaway

We spent 2 nights at JPL. It was absolutely wonderful especially after having been locked up due to COVID for over a year. We felt very safe, everything was well organized and managed, the hotel and grounds weren’t overrun with people and the service was exceptional. Just love it here!
