Fantastic stay. Have been to Manzanillo several times but first time at the Barceló. Room was extremely clean and had a fantastic view of the pools, beach and action in the harbour with large vessels coming and going. Enjoyed our meals at all the restaurants with Agave being my favourite. Mainly due to the location right on the water. Absolutely no complaints with the food, it was great everywhere! We used the premium lounge everyday to grab a quick cappuccino and expresso, but otherwise it is an odd little spot. It has been years since we attended the night shows at a resort like this, but at the Barceló they were so much fun we made a point to go every night. My wife hooked up with the local Pickleball and tennis players with great facilities next to the resort. She was welcomed into the group and played every morning. Staff at this place were top notch. Always smiling, so friendly and incredibly helpful. We will put the Barceló on our list for a return visit.

5 nights stay in a Premium Master Suite with Private Pool room, our second visit to this resort. Easy check-in with Tania who was fluent in English but was patient enough to allow us to practice our Spanish. Nice clean room on the 5th floor with a stunning view of the entire resort and Manzanillo bay to the south. Pilar was our house keeper during our stay. Although she spoke no English we were able to exchange pleasantries and felt well taken care of. Food was good in the buffet and the al-a-carte restaurants - obviously not Michelin 3 star restaurants but we had no complaints. We met up with Alfredo, one of the restaurant managers, who remembered us from our first visit 2 years ago. Impressive! Fernando, our waiter at Kyoto and Capri, made excellent recommendations. Attended all the shows after dinner - nice atmosphere. The best part of our stay was the fact that 98% of the guests were Mexican, many with their families of children so consequently there was a friendly, happy atmosphere typical of Mexican culture.

The Barceló Karmina is a fabulous resort! Our family had a great time! Everyone was incredible friendly. One person who stood out was Samuel, from the Barceló Band. He was the host of the evening show, has a fabulous and powerful voice. He was very friendly and the show was great entertainment for our whole family!
