My wife and I stayed at the resort during our honeymoon. It is a very small (200 ish room) resort that is about an hour from the airport. It is a little outdated, but they are working on upgrades parts of the hotel. The staff made up for the outdated look of the hotel. For example, the WiFi works through the hotel. Once you on our their WiFi, you don't have to recount when you move locations. The WiFi is one of the many updates that the staff are working on. When we arrived, the staff offered us refreshments as we checked in. We stayed in a butler suite room. Twayne was the staff that helped us during our check-in. He was also one of the butler. He gave us a tour of the hotel and walked us into out room. He was great. Christa and Raymond were the other butlers for our stay. They handled everything that we needed. They reserved pool chairs, beach chairs, and made reservations for dinner. During our staff, Christa, Raymond, and Twayne always check in on us via texting or when they saw us around the hotel. They were the best. Food at resorts can be hit or miss, but the food at Jewel Paradise Cove was amazing. The hibachi, sushi, and jerk hut were the best. We came for food and the drinks. Jayton was one of the newer barters at the hotel. He would always make the best drinks and he would always talk to us. He made us feel welcome. It was great talking to him during our stay. Besides the good, the entertainment staff made our stay. Dimario and Britnee were always playing a game, dancing, playing music, and just coming by to say hi. They really made our stay. The best part of the stay was the Sunset cruise. My wife and I were the only people on the cruise, so the caption of the boat took special care of us. We loved it. We will be back.

Ok just landed last night in Toronto Canada ..here is my honest personal review ..the food amazing between the buffet the a la carte the pizza place the aquamarina grill ..all amazing ..never had a bad meal once ..the lamb at moonstones unreal and the steak at platinum unreal ..now to the bars all great but mostly hung around emerald pool bar ..BIGGEST SHOUTOUT TO JANICE ..MY GIRL ?????? GIVE HER A RAISE ..we created the JJ JIMOSA ..ask Janice for it you will love it ..to my lifeguard WHITNEY ..love ya girl ..to all the security guards on the resort never felt so safe and no issues..to the coffee bar best coffee served my wife enjoyed it tremendously ...quaint resort with Caribbean feel ..gorgeous grounds ..immaculate cleanliness great service ..I don't know what else to say but enjoy !! We will definitely be back

I had a wonderful experience at Jewel. The environment was well-maintained and the staff was very friendly.

My husband and I recently went to Jewel Paradise Cove and celebrated our 7th year anniversary. We have been to other resorts and this one has succeeded most of our past experiences. This being our first time visiting Jamaica we had a blast. The hotel provided so much entertainment, it has many bars and swim up bars. It never felt over crowded. It has two options for beaches, the main one and the quiet one. We also were able to book excursions through the hotel and paid a fair price. All three excursions we left and came back on time, the guides were amazing and never felt rushed. We had Nancy for our Luminous Lagoon. Chaka was our guide for the Bob Marley Mausoleum. Chukka the Dunn's River falls and catamaran company was spectacular, the catamaran crew was so much fun and very helpful. Michael our transfer driver was wonderful. The staff at Jewel Paradise Cove were always very hospitable. Big thanks to Rafoy, Jevaine, Brittani, Dimario, Douglas, and Jovane for making our stay memorable.

Driving up it does not have the WOW factor but the people there are amazing, the grounds very well maintained with walkways to everywhere on the resort. A La Carte (3) were very good, buffet had a nice variety. The resort was small, only 3 storey buildings with only 225 rooms made it very quiet and cosy. You could choose between 3 pools - one being the main activity pool and 2 quieter ones and 2 beaches- one by the main pool and another quiet one great for snorkeling, oh and can't forget the awesome water slide. We have always gone to the larger resorts, this was a nice change
