Clean and Convenient

Great views, and comfortable and clean rooms. Usually I suffer from allergies in hotel rooms but this was not the case at Hard Rock. The staff was very friendly and the store by the lobby was full of necessities. The main draw for my friends and I was how close it was to the parks-- walking distance from Universal Studios, it only takes about 5-10 minutes to walk there and the hotel room keys double as express passes, which helped enormously in getting in line for more popular attractions (like Velocicoaster). I will say in comparison to other hotels like Portofino Bay, there was not much to see or do at the hotel itself-- but being close to Citywalk was helpful in making up for that. Room service was also nice, we ordered the oreo cheesecake and a pot of hot chocolate and both were very nice for a late night treat.
MOLD
Olegliz (Chesterfield, Missouri) on Mar 21, 2024
We stayed in a Future Rock Stars Suite. I was in the room for about an hour after enjoying Universal Studios. I started sneezing and couldn’t stop. I took 4 Zytrec and still didn’t stop. I was congested and felt like complete crap. We went downstairs to have dinner and then walked around outside by the pool. I finally started to feel better and was relieved - Until we went back to the room and it started all over again. The next morning g my partner who is a contracted lifted the lid off the air vent and saw black mold covering the entire inside of the vent that was visible. Disgusting! They have the money and responsibility to remedy their Mold problem.
Inaccessible accessible beds

Attached are pics of the height of the beds in all accessible rooms. The managers after making my daughter feel like a burden reluctantly sent the engineering staff to remove the metal bed frame and put the mattresses on the floor so that she could transfer into the bed. Other things to note for reference when booking an accessible room at the Hard Rock Universal Orlando, know that the first accessible room we were in that had a tub did not have the accessible curtain pulls and neither the tub nor roll in shower rooms have lowered closet bars. Also, in both rooms she was able to roll under the desk but to table top of the desk is too high to actually use due to way it is built.
Fam on the run found a home at the Hard Rock!

Encore! I can’t wait to return to the Hard Rock in Orlando. My first visit was last week and included 8 other family members. We all had a rocking’ great time and can’t wait to make a return trip. The room was clean and comfy with the nice touches of the “Peace and Love” pillows and the mirror that lets you measure up to some famous music stars. The decor is wonderful. I especially liked the large Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet picture in the lobby. It’s a pretty cool thing when your directions to get to your room include “turn by the Elvis pajamas, take a right by Tom Jones, another right by Jimi Hendrix.” The location is perfect with a pleasant walk over to the park. We all ate together at the Hard Rock Cafe to keep the theme intact. I didn’t know what to expect when we booked the Hard Rock, but I’m very happy that we did.
Make your Universal Studios stay easy and Save Money!

Check in was very easy! We decided to stay here for one night as we got fast passes for Universal Studios for both days included. We left our luggage at the front desk and went straight to the park for the day. Our room was ready for us when we retuned. I was happily surprised with the size, layout and cleanliness. We enjoy staying in suites as it gives us room with our two girls. A deluxe queen room had plenty of room and even a pull out. I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking to purchase an unlimited fast pass for Universal for 2 days. I saved over $1000! It was only a 10 minute walk to Universal from the hotel! You could choose to take the water shuttle, but that is a personal preference.
