Awesome Hotel and Stay
6steigs (Cincinnati, Ohio) on Mar 23, 2024
First rate service and hospitality. Food for the very large convention dinner was awesome. I really want to mention the exceptional care and service of Annette the concierge, Melissa the manager and Jalen in Security who helped me out when I cut my leg which was my own fault. Their concern and quick action helped me out. Would definitely stay here again!
Don’t count the stars on this one.

The grounds are wonderful but inside, the rooms are lacking. The beds are hard, the bathtub took forever to drain so forget a shower. Prices were outlandish in all the restaurants inside the resort. Room could most definitely have been cleaner.
Rundown Property with Very Poor Service and Better Options Nearby

The food was bad, parts of the room were unclean, and the service was some of the worst I have had at a Marriott property. Angela in particular at the hotel was very unhelpful and Robert Bray, the manager of the property, was unresponsive. There are many better Marriott hotels in the area. Avoid this one if you can.
A great way to see Disney, without the stress

We went there for a short family Spring Break getaway. PROS: -Everything in this hotel seems huge. A very spacious building. -The pool/slide areas kept our group entertained for hours. You don’t really need the hassle and expense of Disney if you stay here. -Our room was clean, spacious, and the fridge worked better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. -We ate at the sports bar, and the food was decent. -We stayed on the West tower. They have a separate parking lot, which was basically a 30 second walk from our room. CONS: -The West parking lot entrance has no luggage carts. I could’ve used one, instead of making 3-5 trips to our van. -The pillows we were given were terrible. I’m used to a more substantial pillow, so when I would lay my head down, the middle would flatten, while the sides would wrap around my head like a taco. -The blankets seemed like they had some sort of rubber component, as I had to sleep without them at points, as I felt I was sweating. -I had the misfortune of sleeping on the pullout couch bed, one night. That was no fun, and should only be attempted by children. -The hotel had this crazy policy that if there is any hint of wind, you can’t open their deck umbrellas. I get it, if there is a lot of wind, but we only had light breeze. Summary: We had a great a time, and will likely return, even possibly as a couples only trip. I honestly doubt I’d stay on Disney property anymore, after this experience,
Too bad

They allow people to pay a fee to come to the water park who are not guests of the hotel. Changes the vibe of the hotel on the weekends and the pools are packed with no chairs for paying hotel guests. This has changed this experience from “we will be coming back” to “never coming here again “.
