We did this trip with two 13-year-old girls in tow, the resort was very good, plenty of pools to cool off in at the end of a busy day. The food is as expected for the USA but plenty of options, especially if you dine in the various parks.

I had visited Riverside on a previous trip as a child and enjoyed it, so it was an easy choice for a stop on our Honeymoon when we were looking for a moderate resort. We opted for a Preferred room, which was well worth it for the location for the minor increase in cost in our opinion - the food court was near and we were equidistant to the south and west bus stops, meaning we could get on and off first when travelling to and from the parks. The room itself was nice enough, though nothing particularly special. We didn’t end up using any of the pools as we were too busy, but we did use one of the washing facilities nearby which was very convenient. It was well located between the parks meaning no bus journey was ever that long, and the resort is large enough that there’s a steady stream of transport options running, without us feeling lost in the grounds since our room was well located. The food court is good, though if you have time it’s definitely worth a stroll down to the neighbouring French Quarter to try out theirs as well. Having stayed at both value (All Stars) and deluxe (Animal Kingdom Lodge) resorts before, I would strongly recommend Port Orleans Riverside if you plan on being in the parks every day but want an elevated experience with a nicer setting and theming.

One of my favorite disney resorts in the mid range. Staff was superb . We stayed in a Tiana suite. The grounds are lovely and the 0 entry pool was amazing! Fiber optic fireworks on the headboards and genie lamp shaped faucets. The attention to detail was great. Would definitely stay again.

Second trip to this resort. We have stayed in Magnolia Bend and Alliagtor Bayou and loved both of them! We thought about booking a deluxe hotel for our next trip but we love Riverside so much that we didnt want to travel all the way to Orlando and not stay there again! Highly recommend

This resort is perfect for families, singles and retirees. I've stayed there several times and in various locations. I like the mansion area the best. The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool area with the cocktail bar which is a lot of fun. The buffet self serve has a wide variety of good food with a very pleasant large eating area. That area accommodates small and large groups. On some evenings the pub hosts a talented fun piano player who includes people of all ages. Going there after the parks is really fun. One of our favorite things about this resort is the option of taking a boat to and from Disney Springs . My husband loves this. The cost is reasonable although it does increase during busy seasons. We love the fall the best. I've had many good experiences here with my family of 6 and now with my husband. I'm hoping to take my grandsons there soon.
