If you want your money STOLEN from you, feel free to stay here. We stayed here in February 2019, and there was an altercation outside of our room. We cut our 3 day stay short and stayed across the street. We were told a full refund would be applied, and all we wanted was a refund for the rest of our stay. They have not responded to multiple attempts of communication for getting a refund. The management at this hotel is extremely poor and unwilling to help. Please give us our refund. This is a pathetic, money hungry hotel. This is also not the place you want to bring a family.

This residence inn is located just steps from Sea World. They offer a free shuttle and a discount on tickets and shopping at the park. The breakfast buffet is not typical hotel free food. The rooms are very clean and quiet. My only negative is the long walk to the elevators. The rooms are reasonably priced and large.

We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived during an afternoon rain storm and our room was ready so we unloaded the car and entered the very modern and clean lobby. We walked passed the concierge desk and saw the huge seating area for the breakfast buffet. Continuing down the hallway we passed a conference room (doubles as extra seating during the breakfast buffet), saw a computer station, another hallway for the gym and laundry room. We walked down a long hallway to the elevators up to our room. There is a side entrance closer to the elevators which leads to the parking lot. Upon entering our room (which was an upgrade on the 5th floor) we requested a room facing the pool away from Hwy 4. The room came complete with a kitchen: two burner glass cooktop, small sink, dishwasher, and full refrigerator/freezer. The cabinet under the sink was filthy but only housed the garbage can. The rectangular table seats four comfortably and the chaise sectional sofa was comfy to watch shows on the flat screen tv. It was missing a small coffee table. The large bedroom had two queen beds, one nightstand, a dresser, tv, office desk, lamp, and a huge closet the length of the wall. Outside the room was the full vanity sink, and another door to the toilet and bathtub/shower. Everything looked updated, modern, and fresh. My husband even liked the Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap dispenser in the shower. The room was very comfortable as the black out curtains helped the Florida sunshine from peeking through. We slept soundly and woke up early to make it to breakfast every morning at 7 AM! It is a must to get there early as the breakfast area is bustling and most seats fill up quickly. They have two coffee and tea stations. I wish they offered hot chocolate. They also have a large and small make-your-own Mickey waffle station complete with all the toppings: syrup, cinnamon, powdered sugar. There are two breakfast buffet lines for eggs, spinach, shredded cheese, sausage, hashbrowns, bagels, muffins, french toast sticks, croissants, oatmeal (raisins, craisins, brown sugar for toppings), grits, yogurt, biscuits, bowl of apples and bananas. In the back are three dispensers of cereal (raisin bran and froot loops is what it looked like to me as they were not labeled). As with any food allergies, ask the cook/servers first, and there isn't a huge selection for vegetarians or vegans. We also used the pool our first night and it was cold. It was an adorable pool with dolphin statue fountains as you walk into the pool and the deepest being five feet in the center. There is a small hot tub off to the side and ample lounge chairs around the pool. You can tell the teal chairs are new as the beige ones looked sunken and dilapidated. We even utilized the firepit to make s'mores. We brought our own ingredients and sticks. We notified the front desk and the engineer met us at the firepit to turn it on. The couch cushions were wet so we turned them around and used the dry side. The shuttle bus to Sea World and Aquatica were convenient but plan your day. Reserve with concierge each day you need the shuttle. They pick up right outside the lobby at 8:50 AM. The bus does make several stops to other resorts to pick up guests. Even with our pick up at 8:50 AM and our two stops, we still made it to Sea World by 9:15 AM. Going back however we chose to walk because the 4 PM, 5PM buses are full and have eight stops before heading back to the hotel. They say that ride can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. It took us about 20 minutes to walk back to the hotel. We took a pit stop through Renaissance Hotel across the street for a Starbucks. This resort is conveniently located near Turkey Lake Rd which leads to Sand Lake Rd where all the good restaurants are located. This resort is also close to International Dr where more chain restaurants are located, ICON, Pointe Orlando, and outlet malls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will chose this resort again for our next staycation.

We were a small group of Brits here for a conference. Marlene was our 'breakfast angel'. She noticed even the smallest things that might help us to enjoy our time and served us with a generous smile, care and loveliness...Great hat!!
