Paradise Village timeshare scam continued

Paradise Village timeshare scam continued.. At the airport I was offered a short cruise, 7:00 Dinner and show "Savia - rhythms of the night" for $100 .... but I had to attend breakfast the next morning where I would receive two bottles of tequila. I should have known it was the timeshare. But I wanted to see the hotel and figured I could always walk away. The sales pressure got worse and worse as they wouldn't take no. They tried to change the showtime... I had a conflict and asked for my money back. They didn't want to give me the two bottles of tequila ... I raised hell and got one bottle... then I walked away on my own. They definitely didn't live up to anything they said! I can't believe they're allowed to operate at the airport!
Clean and great staff but...

So yes everyone of the staff was very nice and its a older but very clean building. My question is why do you not tell the tourisst walking around without masks to put one on or go home? Its law and your breaking it by not inforcing it. Not one time did I see anyone asked to put one on. We changed our masks constantly, used our saniwipes, washed our hands and stayed away from others. I dont know if it was on the property we picked up covid but it certainly made me think it was a good possibility from what I observed especially people using the pool bathrooms. My other peeve was my husband was asked to put on a shirt with sleeves opposed to his sleeveless (not tank top) in the dining area which would have been fine except all the women in their little tops and bathing suits covers kinda confuses the whole idea of why. The food was medicocre but you won't starve but its just reused the next day in a new dish so usually dry and always cold meals on the buffet. BF best meal of the day, lots of fruit and vegs every meal. Main course is not good.Staff tries hard so tip well. Ask for anything you dont see, we ordered strawberries and bluberries for the kids plus bananas and peanut butter. There is a latte/cappucinno machine there and they taste pretty good but they don't offer them I just happened to see the machine the last couple days. They will bring plates of bacon and toast and I found it odd you had to ask for the butter and jam which comes frozen for cold toast. I would go back but not do the all-Inc.
Not so much

The hotel and surrounding grounds are VERY clean. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. I would like to see them limit the number of vendors on the beach. They are annoying but courteous. Just way too many of them. The price you pay for the hotel seems high for a non all inclusive. Pleasant but not 4 star by any means.

This is a good resort and have come here for 20 years. Do not even trade our membership as this always felt like home. It’s still overall ok..but...but we decided to do all inclusive and ended up off the resort since the food was horrible at the buffets. 900 bucks wasted I guess. The highlight was our waiter at the beach, extraordinary service?? We had to switch rooms as maintenance is not up to par and the AC did not work on the first night. We did not get any hassle on the change so they did ok there. Had a couple massages which were good but when we went to cancel the one for the last day, my wife got a bunch of push back.. annoying. Good massage on the beach for half the cost. Lastly, avoid the sales ladies when you check in.. all the want to do is sell you on timeshare stuff and do not really care otherwise. Overall this is a good place but had several disappointments this time. Got 10 years left on our timeshare and say no reason to extend based on this visit it even though we would have considered it...stay but do not buy!
Terrible Customer Service and Rude Staff

Horrible experience. They kept me in a timeshare presentation for 3.5 hours when promised 90 minutes. The gift I paid to receive my family and I couldn’t do because my 12 year old got really sick w a high fever and they wouldn’t let us cancel or get a refund. When I went to check out They charged me extra for a plastic bracelet we didn’t know we had to return, and my son was already on a flight home still wearing it. I pleaded w them to remove the charge as it was Christmas and they refused to. They refused to refund the $6000 peso deposit until I paid for the bracelet. I will NEVER stay at this resort and will be certain to tell everyone considering PV to boycott Paradise Village. Terrible customer service!
