    This trip was amazing??The resort is beautiful, the restaurants are amazing and the staff was exceptional. We booked a butler suite with Levester, Lola and Delina. We could not have asked for better service. Our every whim was granted. They were very attentive and made this trip a perfect 40th anniversary getaway. We will be back??

    We stayed at the area called the Bluff Room. The room was a little small but view made up for it. There are no balcony’s which was disappointing. The mattress need a upgrade, every time you rolled over you felt and heard a spring moving under you. Air Conditioning was not great and filters were very dirty. Food was just ok except for LaToc. Drinks felt watered down and not having one type of American beer was another big disappointment. Service was Great, pool and beach areas were great. Resort staff were 5 star and very helpful. We would go back to a Sandals.

    My husband and I have just returned from a ten night stay at this hotel and really loved it. We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and overall the holiday was everything we wanted. This said, we did encounter an issue that we want to share to present an honest review of the resort. We were booked into the Emerald Honeymoon Hideaway Grande Luxe room and on arrival asked the reception staff for information about an upgrade of room as we would have liked a room with an ocean view, which we were willing to pay the extra for. We were told to come back the next day, which we did and were told that they still had no information for us. Again we were told to come back the following day, again we did, to be told again that they still did not have any information for us. My husband got very frustrated at this point as the individual on the desk was extremely abrupt and unhelpful. He told her that this was the third day that we had been palmed off! Begrudgingly, she went into the back office and came out to tell us that there might be a pool view available on the Sunday. We declined this option as the pool area is quite noisy and it was too little too late, but thanked her for finally producing the information for us. Later that day we were approached by The Director of Guest Services who asked how we were finding the hotel and staff. We expressed our concerns about the lack of communication and unhelpful manner of this particular member of the reception staff and he agreed that this had not been acceptable. He asked if we were celebrating anything in particular and we told him that we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. He proposed that as a gesture of "good will" he would book us into the La Toc restaurant a couple of days later. Bearing in mind that our holiday was fully inclusive and we did not pay for the food, we thought that there would be at least a complementary bottle of wine to apologise for the inconvenience that we had encountered, but no there was nothing. We could have booked La Toc ourselves! We felt that this issue had soured our holiday slightly. Other than this the rest of our stay was brilliant. The food was good and all of the other members of staff were professional and friendly. In particular, there are 6 team members of staff who really stood out. They are: Stania, Rachella & Anna who work in Armando's - beautiful ladies with beautiful personalities to match. Raymond - A really approachable guy who leads by example, he knew everything about the resort. Keith - super diligent in trying to prevent my husband from entering the sea when the red flags were flying. Stetha - Wow, what can we say about this young lady, this girl needs to be promoted to butler level, she made our holiday. In fact on her days off we really missed her infectious smile. The service she provided us with on the beach went above and beyond her job to ensure that we were looked after. She is real asset to La Toc!

    We had a great time at La Toc. We had a Two story Bluff apartment, with pool and thought it to be worth the money. The food was very good, excellent in some places. Our favourite restaurant was La Toc, least was the Kimono, which was not very flavoursome. We had a couples massage in the spa, as we had credit given to us when we booked. We would not have had one otherwise as we felt it was expensive. Likewise the photographs, which worked out at $25 for each photo on a disc. One of the best features of the resort was that you had choices, not just the restaurants but also the pools. The middle pool was our favourite as it was nice and quiet whereas the bottom pool, near reception,was busiest and not really our cup of tea. We visited both the Halcyon and the Grande and although they were very nice, we preferred La Toc. My wife and I renewed our vows on the beach, which was brilliant and well organised. We found nearly all the staff to be great and special shout outs to Amanda, the drinks waitress at the Pitons pool, Abbie, manager at the Cricketers pub and Elisah (Harper) the barman at the Sunset bar. All in all we had a fantastic two weeks!

    Re-Tying the knot

    My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and were told about the re-tying the knot. One of the best decisions we've ever made! The second we stepped into the room we were greeted with two towel origami doves and CONGRATULATIONS spelled out on the bed in Palm tree palm and rose petals! Several touching messages were on our bed when we returned from the day out! So beautiful to see! Our butlers Sherman and Clovis were just wonderfully supportive and attentive. We grew so close to several resort staff members that they were present at our wedding and some have even come on their day off! Absolutely touching and meant so much to Rick and I. Our vacation was such an outstanding experience that Rick and I were so touched by all the thoughtful gestures, genuine warmth of the Sandals family that we became part of it! With the help of OT and his fantastuc ladies, we joined their Loyalty Program and have started the ball rolling for our 2020 vacation at their Jamaica Resort with a super sweet discount if I might add. We would like to say that our hearts are full with love for Sandals La Toc and thank Sameera -1st face we saw on the resort, Allison Anthony - Wedding Coord., Dala, Clovis & Sherman (Butlers), Martha & Juliette (Housekeepers), Kingston (Cricketers Pub) & Kinson (Photographer), Raheem, Xylina & Elisha-(Duty free store), Michael (Soy and Kimonos), Moise (La Toc French Restaurant) OT and the ladies (Loyalty Program Office) and last but not least Ravin (Director of Guest Services) and Mr. G. (General Manager)for all and I mean ALL of the relaxation and thought that was out into an outstanding vacation experience! We love you guys and will see you all again in 2021!
