This is our first experience at a Sandals resort and first time to St. Lucia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rose at Armando's Restaurant and Jeanine at the resort shop were especially wonderful. We had some ants coming in the room around the door. Once we reported it, they were very quick to handle the situation and followed up to ensure the problem was taken care of to our satisfaction. COVID-19 restrictions meant that transfers between the properties and some activities were not allowed, but there was still plenty to do. Pool chairs could be difficult to come by if you didn't have butler service, but we are early birds and always found a spot. The food was consistently good. We had an Oceanview suite with a balcony soaking tub in the bluffs area of the resort. There is no beach at that particular location, but we liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the resort. Shuttles run every 5-10 minutes to the main area, making it easy to do anything we wanted. I would definitely return to this resort and will check out Sandals other locations in the future.

This was a surprise 15th anniversary trip that I planned for my husband. I stayed at La Toc when Sandals first acquired it in 1993 and wanted to share it with him. We had an amazing vacation. We didn't know how Covid would affect things, but just needed to get away. At the time we stayed, they were probably 50% occupancy. No land excursions or shuttles between resorts. Water excursions were offered - we went deep sea fishing and snorkeling. Room - We stayed at a walkout club level with the outdoor soaking tub. The room was very comfortable. Close to main pool and lobby area. Loved the tub! Food - food was excellent we ate at every restaurant on property. Desserts were weak in my opinion. If there were any issues, Sandals went over and above to make it right. One night, our waitress forgot to bring out the parmesean cheese my husband requested at Armondo's. She remembered at the end of the meal and sent the chef out to apologize. Not only did he do that - he invited us back the next day to prepare the dish again for us at lunch (not on the menu). We dined with friends who mentioned how much they enjoyed the bruschetta on the dinner menu - he made that for us as well! The manager, Wayan also manages Soy, the sushi restaurant. He remembered our names and had no problem changing our reservation from 2-4 on a busy night. He actually had a new table brought out and set up. Best customer service ever! Bars - bartenders are quick, lots of fun and can always suggest the perfect drink. One of my standard orders was "surprise me". I was never disappointed and soon others were ordering them too. Activities - despite Covid, there was plenty to do. Trivia, pool volleyball, theme nights, couples massages, pool, ping pong and just relaxing in the water. We had a few "red flag" beach days, but the watersports were open otherwise. Highly recommend the candlelight dinner on the beach. Already booked our next one!

my husband and I just returned from a phenomenal week at Sandals La Toc in Saint Lucia. We were very excited to honeymoon here and the resort did not disappoint. We did have to follow government protocol and have negative covid-19 results prior to entering island. The resort was re-opening the day we arrived. All of the staff greeted us along the walkways of resort and we drove in. They had a giant welcome party where we got dropped off- dj, carnival dancers, men on stilts, fire breathers, etc. What a welcome! All the staff were so happy to be back open. We had a room on sunset bluff with butler service. the view from our balcony and bedroom was breathtaking. Our butlers Owen, Marcus and Sydney were the BEST. Request these guys! they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and more. They scheduled our dinners, excursions and set up our beach lounge chairs everyday, with a cooler packed with water and beer! They brought us snacks and the nighttime take down/setup room was great. Marcus, Owen, and Sydney paid great attention to detail and made sure everything was perfect. One day, they even went as far as to bring lunch poolside to us versus us going to a sitdown restaurant. They were all very knowledgeable about the resort and made great food recommendations at all the restaurants we went to. They kept our schedule from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Our mini-bar in room was stocked daily and never ran dry. The sunset bluff up a hill from hotel lobby main pool/beach, so our butlers shuttled us down in golf carts or there is a resort shuttle that runs. Our room was sealed and cleaned daily. We had a card that showed all the surfaces that were wiped down daily. Masks were required while riding shuttles/golf cart, in stores and hotel lobby. There are hand santizing stations everywhere and the staff makes you sanitize very frequently. They use a special cleaner to hose down lounge chairs and clean restaurant tables. *We did the regular sunset catamaran booze cruise and deep sea fishing. They are only offering water adventure excursions at this time. We were sad because we wanted to the mud springs, but now we have a reason to go back. Both were excellent, I would highly recommend. Booze cruise was great because we saw other parts of island and the sunset is breathtaking and so beautiful here. The crew for cruise served us delicious drinks and appetizers and had us up dancing for most of cruiss. For fishing, we caught 1 mahi mahi during the trip. We did a couples massage- Justine and Kasey were great, we felt so relaxed when we left. We also did the candlelight dinner. It was so romantic, a 4 course peronalized menu right on the beach. We did this our last night, what a way to end the vacation. *Restaurants were delicious. Hours were slightly different then advertised because they had just re-opened. We ate at all of the restaurants (la toc, kimonos, soy, aramandos, piton, pavillion, neptunes) All were delicious. The food was mouthwatering... we never went hungry or ate something we didn’t like. Cricketers Pub has amazing wings and pub food, my husband appreciated late night snacking here. I love a good pub. Bella Napoli had some amazing unique pizza combinations and the pizza crust was so crispy from the oven. *Captain Neil and his activity crew kept us entertained but were not too pushy with activities. They were so friendly and upbeat. They had us up dancing and taught us some new island dances. The nighttime entertainment was great. They have some really talented people on the team. *The pool bars were open and they have waitresses taking drink orders. My girl Amanda, she remembered my drink order after the first day and automatically brought it to me everyday she saw me. She was wonderful. I can’t say enough wonderful things about all the staff of the resort. Everyone is smiling, saying hi and asking how our vacation is. The ocean is so blue and so clear here. The water is mostly calm so you could just float along in the ocean. The water sports were readily available, my husband went scuba diving and highly enjoyed it. The views around resort of island were stunning and every direction you looked was just so beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort. Whether you need a vacation, getaway or a place to honeymoon, Sandals La Toc is the place to go.

I am so in love with this Island Saint Lucia. When I heard how well Covid was managed, I could not wait to return! To top up the natural beauty of this Island is its people. They are warm, friendly and naturally caring which glows in their eyes even behind a mask. I chose Sandals La Toc because of the brand’s platinum protocol on cleanliness. Believe me, they do a phenomenal job. The staff are doing a fantastic job at it from Airport to departure. Amidst all the beautiful things, the employees are clearly under duress. I do not say this lightly. The first shock was discovering that my Butlers were servicing 10 rooms. I was told that they held between 8 to 12 rooms! All Sandals I visited; I was not pleased but ok that I was serviced with 5 other couples. Talking about safe, personalized service……my butlers were clearly overwhelmed, service was slow and made lots of errors in something as small as a breakfast order. Our housekeeper said that the staff are bullied and constantly threatened that their jobs are at stake if they do not comply. Asking around we learnt that many staff were still at home awaiting being reinstated including BUTLERS and some butlers already at work were posted for office and other menial task. This was not what we paid for. Despite the genuine warmth in their eyes when they smile at us, we could see the tired faces and eyes of our Butlers. Any great company would fire the Manager (who is she?); unless this is a new Brand culture. By the way we miss Ricardo…. always on the floor with his Butlers. We feel badly; and hence I passionately elaborate on this. This was not the poised Professional Butler Service that we know. Saint Lucia is the place to be. The people are the ones you would love to meet. Maybe just not at Sandals La Toc.

Overall dissatisfaction. The room was sub par and supposed to be a honeymoon suite. Electricity kept cutting, mosquitoes where awful, huge gaps in the doors and windows allowed for bugs to fly in. Food was average at best. The grounds and landscaping was unattended. The only good thing was the butler service.
