Lost and Found

If you lose something during your journey with WestJet, we will do our best to help you find it. We keep any items found on our aircraft for 14 days after the date of your flight.

To locate an item left on board, please tell us about your lost item.

Report an item left on board

We are moving to a new lost and found management system. If you require assistance with a lost and found file that was created before October 1, 2019, please contact WestJet Central Baggage Services at 1-866-695-2247.

Lost passport

WestJet is not permitted to retain passports. Any passports found will be turned over to the appropriate authority as outlined in the Government of Canada website.

Where else can you look?

  • Items left in the airport public areas such as restrooms, boarding lounges, restaurants and security are turned over to the local airport authority.
  • If your item was left on one of our partner airlines, you will need to follow up with them.
