Cambridge Beaches is just perfect in every way. Karen and Christiane were so helpful even before we arrived. Although a bit out of the way, it really isn't as ferries and buses can get you anywhere.Taxis are expensive but good for the return trip. Ocean view room was spectacular. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was terrific with omelet and egg station so you weren't limited to only scrambled eggs. Beach was lovely. The staff was the best! Zach was so helpful giving us a little tour of the resort before bringing us to our room. Eugene our shuttle driver was so helpful and attentive. Everything you want to rent is on site. Pool is an infinity pool, 6 feet deep which is fine because the best thing about the property is no children under the age of 13. But it is perfect for families with teenaged and adult children. Any complaints about the staff are because some American visitors are just too entitled. The staff went out of their way to make our vacation wonderful. I hope to return for a family vacation with my adult children. And you MUST do the sunset dinner at Breezes. It was the highlight of our trip thanks to the chef and mother nature.

Beautiful hotel with excellent food in both the restaurants. Our suite was very nice with great views of the sea with views of turtles swimming. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful in fact they couldn't do enough for us. Drinks quite expensive. Courtesy bus to The Dockyard was very useful to get a ferry and the driver was always very nice. The con siege lady and the reception staff were really good. lovely relaxing holiday will return

They have tried updating the property but it is an older resort and they need to strip it back and start rooms fresh. The results of the remodel seemed pieced together. The staff is lovely and the food is good. The location is also very nice and they have a free bus service to the harbour.

First off this we have been told this is the only 13year old and above resort on the Island, we were sold on that alone. From check in which was painless and fast until check out there was not on issue. That is a first for us! This is the very first resort that has let us actually vacation and relax. They are extremely pleasant and do not bother you in any way shape of form. However if you need anything they are on it very fast! The view from our room “Lilly”was amazing. I love sunsets so my husband requested that side of the resort. We did eat breakfast there and the line of food was perfect for all. We walked to the grocery store for meals for the rest of the week as the food in Bermuda can be expensive, then adding a drink or two x9 Days... the walk was a pleasant 10 minute walk each way. And the liquor store is there as well. Bermuda in and of itself is the best of many Islands We been to, safe, friendly and clean. We will be back and Cambridge is the place to be!

When I say old I don’t mean bad but traditional and good. We have stayed here twice now. Once as a young couple getting away from the little ones for a quick trip and now as a grown family with three adult professional children, my daughters fiancé and my son’s girlfriend. We rented windswept cottage which provided three bedrooms and a large living room at the end of the resort. We also had the closest premium room next to the cottage so everyone had a spacious room with views and a living room to hang out in with privacy. The cottage is perfect for a family and we had a expansive private lawn overlooking the ocean and rocks below and small almost private beach. The cottage needs updating and I believe it is the last building to be renovated on the resort of approx 80 rooms. There is one other family cottage but I like windswept. So if loose door handles or dated bathrooms and furniture are more important than location wait till they renovate. We did not mind frankly as it is still nice. The staff makes the stay because they are friendly, fun, accommodating and well trained. There are two restaurants and a bar restaurant at the pool. Tamarisk is more formal and overlooks the bay and pool area. That is where breakfast is everyday. The food is good. I am not a foodie or a critic like Chef Ramsey but I enjoyed all my meals. Breezes at the beach is the other and our favorite. The scenery and staff and sun setting at dinner made it magical. We were told there is a dress code and I like that. No jackets or ties anymore but casual upscale dress is required. They don’t enforce it as I saw some people dressed pretty badly and they were not turned away which is a shame to have a rule then not enforce it. A simple polite mention to a sloppily dressed guest should occur but does not seem to happen. Old world Bermuda and charm also means dress nicely for dinner. Regardless it was not a big deal or offensive. As long as people are polite and they were. Monday was the big barbecue which is festive and delicious with music and dancing. They allow outside neighbors to pay 50.00 to attend per head. We pay 70.00 per head per night for dinner if you are on the dinner plan. Breakfast was included in the room charge. That does not include drinks of any kind except tap water at dinner. I liked the outside visitors it made it nice and they were friendly. There is a swizzle cocktail hour Wednesday and a repeat guest cocktail hour Thursday which was a great idea. The resort manager Richard is charming and makes a big deal about each return guest. Some have visited for decades and many many times which speaks volumes. A few shout outs. Karen the concierge is awesome and so sweet and helpful. Lupe the captain and manager at breezes runs a tight ship and is a very pleasant guy. Jahdal the bar tender at the pool is all personality and makes hanging there fun with his stories and banter. My favorite was Kirsten. He was friendly down to earth and witty and made everyone smile when he was around. Tyneisha at the front desk was most experienced and helpful. I would say that area requires a little attention and is the first and last people you meet. I just tried to stick to her as the others were a bit dismissive and not overly friendly or helpful honestly. I guess they get tired of guests but it is their job and an important one. The only negatives (if I have to find one) is the seaweed which is out of their control when it hits but they need to invest in proper equipment to get rid of it. Young men with pitch forks won’t get it done. It is a problem at many islands now. The chairs and umbrellas need replacing as well. Cheap looking and many are broken. The Adirondack chairs are good quality but there are not enough. Actually poolside needs more chairs and the main beach has a slew of them no one uses. I will return and sooner than last time. The price was not inexpensive by any standard but typical for a place like this so not a problem. It is such an easy trip from the east coast of the USA it makes it a great quick getaway. We are looking forward to windswept being renovated. I wanted my kids to fall in love with Bermuda and mission accomplished at Cambridge Beaches.
