    Great Stay at Pullman Cayo Coco

    Eating There are four à la carte restaurants at this hotel. The French one was delicious. The Japanese was very tasty. The Italian one was the one that needed some improvements. We didn’t go to the Cuban one but members of our group liked it a lot and they’re fussy eaters. During another dinner, we had lobster tail and filet mignon for our group. Some people don’t like the level it was cooked but almost everyone said it was very good. The buffet had a lot of choices and was very good every day. They had a pasta bar, a fish bar and a meat bar. Depending on the night, they also had excellent pork or turkey or roast beef and would would cut for you. It was really delicious! The 24 hour snack restaurant had more choices than most hotels I’ve seen in Cuba and tasted good. At lunch there was also an outdoor buffet with a decent number of choices. That was a very good and tasty alternative. Beach The beach was really great. It is wide and very long and has a lot of shade. There are also many chairs so you don’t have to fight over one. There is not much rocks in the water at all. You could make use of water shoes but it is not necessary at all. The volleyball court is a well allocated. There are two bars and two snacks pretty close to the beach and a waiter that comes by sometimes. The beach only had a tiny bit of seaweed. On days where the sea was calmer, you could see your feet very clearly. On some days the tide went up to the base of our chairs but that’s only a small disadvantage. Rooms Since the hotel was open in late 2015, the rooms are still in good shape as I write this. They are nice and well designed. We were in building 21. The downside was taking a shower at 5 PM, there was no hot water but I don’t know if it was the same in all buildings. Service The service was very good most of the time. Almost everyone in the staff was nice. One of us did not have her luggage all week and we appreciated the customer service ladies trying to help us and going beyond the call of duty. Entertainment The entertainment is excellent. They were bands and playing almost all night if not all night. We did not attend many shows but what we saw was very good. There was a foam party, a beach party, a Cuban show, etc. Excursions We were 30 who did a full catamaran day on the Intrepido and had a lot of fun. The staff was nice and funny. We went to a dune where there was only 2 ft of water. The food was really good but there could have been a bit more. We also stopped for snorkeling with the equipment provided. Open bar of course. It was a quick too minute bus ride to get there. Miscellaneous The hotel is very close to the airport, the bus ride is only 15 minutes. The hotel is well-maintained and in very good condition overall. We were a group of 50 Latin dancers and we strongly appreciated the management doing their best to accommodate us. If you’re Canadian, bring Canadian money and not American money. Actually, at this time any currency other than USD (so not just for Canadians). The extra 13% off they took on USD really hurt but it was not the hotel’s fault. Most people in our group enjoyed their stay and a lot of us want to go back! Thanks to everyone at the Pullman for their dedicated work!

    We visited the Pullman the last week of Oct. 2019 with 2 other couples. One of the couples had already been there 5 times previously and to Cuba itself over 30 times! They highly recommended the Pullman and we were not disappointed! The Hotel was fabulous and the staff simply AMAZING! The room was very nice, comfortable and clean and left you wanting nothing. The pools were very clean and the temperature was great! Thank you Nerly for working so hard to keep the Collection pool spotless! And always greeting us with a smile! I only made one show, but the memory will last me a lifetime! The entertainers/dancers abilities are incredible and it is clear they work very hard! No matter which bar you went to, the bartenders were amazing! Always friendly! It was a very memorable trip and we couldn't have asked for more! A special shout out to some of the amazing staff: Liz, Eduardo, Ariel, Leannor, Jose, Alfredo, Abel, Wilbur, Buddy, chef Saha, Nerly and the lovely ladies at The Gourmet.

    Second time, and did not regret! Pullman stays in my list as Best Cuba Vacation Destination!

    Just got back from Pullman CC where we stayed from December 1-8, 2019. This is our second time in this resort, we traveled with 3 adults and a 3 years old child. Comparing to our first trip, things changed, but not a lot. Food variety was different, but still plenty to choose from. I think it might be seasonal as well. We did never get sick and always find different meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sad Fact: We arrived at 11 in the morning and there was a huge line in the reception area. We requested a quiet room on the higher floor away from the pool, so the kid can have a quiet nap in the afternoon, but were a bit disappointed when we got our rooms facing a pool where the pool party with loud music was happening. Doors to the bathroom did not close, ac would not blow a cold air, and tv was very small and picture was blurry. I went to complain, however a lady on the front desk could not help us to change the room (she really tried her best, and I could feel it). At the end of the day, water was shut down for entire hotel, and we could not take a shower before going to bed. That day was ruined for us and was very disappointing to realize that hotel were we were repeated guests treated us like that….. Everything changed when Liz, a front desk Manager, meet me in the lobby of the next day. She said that from now on, our vacation will change and she will personally make sure we are happy in their hotel. And it really did!!!!! Rooms were changed right away. Spotlessly clean, she sent us new TVs for both of the rooms to make sure we get a large screen TVs. Hotel sent us two bottles of Champagne and after I laughed about the fact that no one in my family drinks champagne, hotel sent us another two bottles of best RUM. More, our flight back home was scheduled at 9 pm, so we had to board the bus at 6 and hotel was kind enough to offer us to use one of the rooms until 3 PM at no extra charge. My dear Liz, I can not thank you enough for all your effort to make sure we had a best vacation ever. Management: Jean Luc, huge kudos for setting up and keeping a high standard in Pullman, it is so rear to find in Cuba. Thanks for fantastic team of employees who do their best to make sure we are happy in your hotel. Roberto, thanks for the variety of food and drinks. Your personal greeting at the buffet doors is appreciated and valued. Liz – you are simply the best! Felix – animation team is the most welcoming and positive teams in Pullman. Food: Roberto Carmona (food and beverage director) himself would great our family every day at the buffet doors with the welcoming smile and always has a small talk that made us feel welcomed. Variety of meat products was huge, you can find; chicken, lamb, beef, pork, rabbit, shrimps, fish that comes along with a great selection of fruits and vegies. Waiting stuff was absolutely amazing, I would not always have a CUC or two to leave, but regardless, the attention to my family was always there. Approximately on our second day, our waiter already knew what we were drinking and drinks would show up on our table before we could request them. How could you not tip? We always seat to the right side of the entrance near the buffet and kitchen area. Unfortunately I did not remember the name of our waiting friends, but I can assure you, they all are pretty good. When waiters see you on the resort grounds, they will make sure to shake your hand and ask how was my day. Chefs: always have some positive things to say, if I am in line to get my omelet, they will make sure to say hi with the big smile, even if they work on the different section of the restaurant. So standing in line was never boring and if there is a line, it is not longer than a minute or two. I want to mention two special ladies, one that mixes smoothies for breakfast and other that fries bananas for diner. Always positive, always make you feel special. I tipped them only at the end of my trip, my bad. Do not make my mistake. Beach and Pools: AMAZING. Clean and have plenty of shaded places to relax at any time. You do not have to rush in the morning to throw your towel to reserve a spot. Beach is shallow and great for kids. Best snorkeling place is to the left, around the rock. Do take rife excursion it really worth the 20 CUC per adult and 10 CUC per kid. Rooms: Bright and specious, clean and functional. Love the fact that water pressure is pretty powerful and that every room had a bathtub. AC worked perfectly fine. We had a TV that did not show a perfect image, and Liz from Reservations made sure we got new large screen TVs! Cleaning lady kept the room nice and clean. Fresh towels were provided. BEST part of our vacation is Animation team! I asked to have their names, and really sorry if I mis type or forgot someone. Alian (Pitbul) – towel guy, perfect English, very knowledgeable in terms of geography and history. Always great talks around his towel exchange booth. Richard (Richard Gere) will make you fell like you known him for ages very faithful to his GF from Canada. Lady I am not sure who you are, but guy is talking about you 24/7 ?? Fedele (Junior) this guy has some moves, if you want to learn how to dance, take this lesson from the best. He personally came up to a lobby to say good bye to our family. Adrian – he can have fun while leading the beach activity. Great sense of humor. Ahmed (AA or Amazing Ahmed) – his line: See you later alligator, in a while, crocodile. See you soon, big baboon is still in my ears. Always positive with the great smile. Twins – the are everywhere, they are dancing, they would greet you at the buffet doors always positive. Girls, Yuris, Yeinis, Mia and others, perfect dancers, always make pool time entertaining and fun! Felix – you suck…… just kidding. This big guy with the most charming smile will change towels, will decorate a X-mass tree, will make sure to talk to you. If you see him going somewhere and eating, you be sure he will offer you his food ?? Things to share. GUESTS: do you want to feel Cuba? Do not be a strangers, say HI to employees, ask how their day is going, be kind to them and you will feel a different Cuba. You will hear some great stories. Do not hesitate to TIP! Tip everyone you can, gardener, towel guy, person who exchanges your money, bell boy. If you do not tip them, they will not hold grudges, service will still be there for you, but if you tip, you can help at least one Cuban family to have a bit better dinner, to buy a better close for their kids, to take a parent to a dream vacation. From those few tip bucks our live would not change, but for Cubans it means a lot. Management: Pay attention to your guests requests. Big or small, all maters! Please send a technician to do a room inspection and identify a potential problems before you let your guests vacant those rooms. It is not your guests duty to identify rooms problems and first impression is very important.

    Me and my girlfriend visited for the last week of November 2019. It was my first trip to a resort and it was amazing.very clean,excellent hotel staff and entertainers. They always made sure you were having a good time and keeping you in know for events that were happening. Shout out to Choco,Adrian,Mary,Leyanet,Baby Junior and Hermes for being so friendly and making our trip as amazing as it was. Highly recommend!

    Pullman Cayo Coco has been our favourite place since we came here the first time. I feel welcome every time that we decide to spend our holidays in this amazing hotel. Good server, beautiful beaches, nice people, so good animation and view to the sea. When my family and me come here we feel like at home, this is the hotel when you can meet people as kind as the sweetheart Betty from animation team, Yasniel the tall guy at the buffet, they were so nice receiving to all the clients there. Thank you so much for your special and warm way. We love you
