Not sure how I'll be able to stay anywhere else now...

We've never stayed on property at Disneyland during any of our previous 15+ trips but we were able to get a great convention rate for this trip so we thought we'd try it. Now I'm not sure how I can ever go back across the street to the other hotels... Let's start with the pros: The location. Having that entrance into California Adventure was AMAZING! And the few steps to DIsneyland park were perfect. The extra hours on a daily basis for hotel guests was awesome. California Adventure was the best one to use those on and we got so much done during that first hour in the morning. The rooms were so clean and spacious (we stayed in a best 2 queen room.) And the showers were amazing! The rooms even had turn down service each night, complete with a chocolate on the pillow. When we arrived before check in, we were still able to go right into our room and found we had a Downtown Disney view for no additional fee. This allowed us to view the fireworks from our balcony. The staff was so dang friendly (especially bell services!) and there was trick or treating in the lobby for our kids each night. Let's talk cons: The price. We paid $400 a night after taxes which is insane to me. But what is even more insane is that it's normally more than $700. There's no way I could do it for their usual rate and that's sad. The pool area was a disappointment. The water was so dang cold, my son couldn't go on their water slide with his goggles, and it was hard to find a place to sit. Plus they let little kids take over every hot tub, making it not so relaxing. The lack of food choices was a bummer, too. There was one tiny quick service place with few options, otherwise it was all sit down options. I would have liked to have another place to grab some basic food or even snacks at the end of the night. The noise is both a pro and con. Pro because we could not hear a single footstep above us but con because we COULD hear some rolling luggage carts every time they turned the corner upstairs (it was roar-like noise.) All in all, we'd stay there again if we could get another great rate. The convenience alone made it worth it for me.

This is a must stay for families traveling to and from Disneyland, period. They have everything from lifeguarded pools, character restaurants, separate park access points and nearby shopping. And, there is an on-site store that sells children’s Tylenol, swim suites and snacks... We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time!!!!

Amazing place to stay. Pricey but worth it. This is designed by the same person that did the Wilderness lodge and the animal Kingdom resort. I is reminiscent of the main lodge at Yellowstone national park.

    Excellent experience EVERY TIME!

There is NO question this hotel is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. Everyone at the resort is a joy to interact with and they all offer you a 5 star experience. The beds are comfortable and the entire resort is spotless!!! The room service is excellent and the concierge level is worth every penny you pay for the experience and delicious treats! We can not wait to return so we can again enjoy all of the amazing perks of staying here....can not wait for the spa to open back up!!!!

We stayed for 6 nights while visiting the parks in September. It’s convenience to the parks can’t be beat, especially if you request a room near the Napa Rose elevators. The rooms are large, we had two queen beds for our family of four. Everything was spotless. The laundry was easy to access and had plenty of washing machines and dryers available whenever I went. The swimming pools are magnificent and very safe for children due to the many life savers around who already very vigilant. There were also plenty of pool chairs available whenever we went.
