Hotel is always impeccable and staff is always friendly. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Overall excellent value and definitely a step above most hotels in the strip. Restaurants are great too.
Room needed a deep clean, and private pool area closed - avoid!

Stayed at the Delano for two reasons:was able to get a 2 room suite to accommodate 2 adults and 3 teens, and to have a quiet pool experience at the Delano pool. With no pre-communication (to allow for us to flex our plans), Delano pool was completely closed - Mandalay pool was open (presumably management felt that a pool is a pool and that it’s not important to give Delano customers the pool experience that was promised on the website). Unfortunately at the Mandalay Bay pool area loungers were filthy, and prime position loungers (assume also clean!) at pool edge were for rent at £125 EACH, and umbrellas also at £125 - otherwise no shade available at all. £250 for a lounger and an umbrella! Erm, no thanks! So one of the two reasons we chose Delano was just not available. The room was spacious but needed a DEEP clean - there were a stains all over the carpet, on the chair in the bedroom, and on sofa in the lounge - to the extent that I didn’t walk barefoot on the carpet or sit on either the chair or the sofa! The shower was above a large and deep bathtub which had a slanted end, which made it very difficult to stand under the shower. The bath faucet had black mould all under the rim - which must be a health hazard - whilst the bath looked enticing, there was no way I was going to bathe in water that had come through that faucet! So all in all a big disappointment - just felt grimy. Avoid if cleanliness is important to you.

I will update if anything changes but this place is not what it used to be. We just checked in after traveling all day. It’s 12:07 AM and they are allegedly out of extra blankets and extra pillows. Sheets don’t fit the bed and mattress is exposed at the top. The couch is disgusting, see the pictures. I’m starting to think MGM properties are not for me. They definitely aren’t focused on cleaning or luxury. Go stay somewhere else.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. I have stayed at the Mandalay Bay but not at the Delano. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The check in and out process was made so easy. I am looking forward to my next trip!

Horrible experience at Delano thanks to this manager named “Wendy” who clearly shouldn’t work in hospitality. Had room Fri-Sun with option to extend for $150 on Sun-Mon. Didn’t even get into Vegas Friday due to airline so came in Saturday at 4pm. No offer from hotel to compensate us for unused room on Friday due to airline issue. Tried to explain this to Wendy on Sunday she didn’t care instead she yelled at me and is the worst person ever. Rude and obnoxious Wendy is the reason for this review.
