    Don’t use the fridge!!!!

    I celebrated my birthday by staying here and moved some drinks around in the fridge to store my birthday cake... I was charged OVER $100 for this and I didn’t even drink them!!!! Maybe they should warn you not to use the fridge they provide... it’s obviously not for their guests to use!!!

    We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable the rooms are. 1.5 baths in a 2 room suite with spacious bathroom and huge soaking tub (there is a Lush store for bath bombs in nearby shops!). Spa is good but very dark and “concrete”. Not necessarily a place inviting to hang out. There was however a strong scent used in Lobby area. It was like not offensive yet just didn’t agree with me. I smelled it every time we came through lobby area. If it had been in accommodation area I may have really been turned off but it was not. Bring your own Keurig cups! It’s $14 for 2 in room with styrofoam cup! I wish I had read more reviews to do this. Overall a pretty good choice if you like a room with a view and ample space Not in the “thick” of everything.

    Every staff member we came across during our stay at Delano was very professional and polite. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the service was excellent. The in- room dining was very good except for the last day.

    Didn’t care for the location on the strip. Decor and amenities seemed pretty average. Staff was sort glib and unfriendly. Check in check out system was less efficient, friendly and professional as other MGM properties. Had a pretty expensive dinner at Rivea and our steak and halibut were nothing special and completely got Medium wrong with my steak.

    Check in started the trip. Their system was down so lines were long. I chose not to let it bother us and we were rewarded. They supplied complimentary wine during the wait, and also supplied us with $150 in food/beverage voucher while we waited. They felt horrible for the situation but they handled it perfectly and it set the stage for a great three night stay. We were comped our 3 nights with our m-life status, and scored a king suite on the 38th floor. We dined at lupo, libertine social, and house of blues and they were all fantastic unique experiences. We went to the sky fall lounge for drinks, view was amazing and the cocktails were some of the best I ever had. Service lacked quite a bit there which is the only negative thing I have to say about any service at the resort. We checked out on a Saturday, we missed it right after we left. Kudos to the staff! Hope to come back soon.
