Just ok

I see some one star reviews and plenty of 4-5 star. This place is just ok. The complaints in the bad reviews I read are valid from my experience so far, but doesn’t qualify the place as one star- that’s ridiculous. The food choices, quality, are just mediocre and service can be slow and spotty. That is not a critism of most of the staff, since we are in pandemic times I assume they have had to make a lot of changes to their operations and it shows.
Paradisus in Los Cabos

Great! We loved our week, highly recommend Reserve Class. Views were amazing, see life (whales) abundant, service friendly, but often slow, beverages delicious, not all restaurants open yet, but highly recommend Gabi Beach for lunch and Lapalapa for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Concierge very helpful.
Don’t stay here

Just look somewhere else. Here was our experience. Cons 1. Housekeeping neglected to come to our room for 2 days. We had to call to ask for them to come. 2. When they finally did come, someone had left an open can of Diet Coke in our bathroom. No one in our room drinks pop, and the hotel has a strict mask mandate requiring employees to wear masks at all times. (They won’t even enter your room with a mask on for safety). So I am not sure why someone would be drinking a coke in our room with their mask off. Cleaning or not. 3. Housekeeping does not check the items that need to be replaced or have been used. We had no cups or coffee for 2 days and we had to ask for cups and extra Nespresso pods 3x for someone to bring them (we asked our butler, we called the front desk, and finally we asked a housekeeper in the hallway to give us some) 4. Unrolled a “clean” towel at the pool and there was guac on it 5. Our friends in a separate room received a dirty pillowcase after a turndown service. 6. ALL of the people we were traveling with got Montezuma’s revenge from the steak at Capella (Italian restaurant) 7. Our group of travelers expected and intended to spend additional money on top of all inclusive, but Paradisus is clearly taking advantage of guests 8. Tequila cost 2x as much as a liquor store ($260 vs $99) & the restaurant tried to charge us twice for it 9. The house wine is absolutely horrible. If you buy bottles, you will spend $120 for bottles that sell for $60 at other nearby resorts (we had the same bottle at another resort & experienced this) 10. Spa treatments, pedicures specifically, were unreasonably overpriced at $95. I typically would not comment about this on price alone, but it was horrible quality. They did NOT use clean tools which is dangerous, plain and simple. Each technician had their own set of nail tools including clippers and files that were clearly re-used and there was no disinfectant fluid in sight. They also painted on my skin (which I had to fix myself) and did not spend the 50 minutes advertised yet expected a tip on the full amount. 11. Our Butler did help us on a few occasions however also left us on read for multiple messages/days 12. Only 4 of the 7 advertised “restaurants” serve food. There would have been 6, but the others were “closed for the season” and this was not advertised anywhere. The rest are bars and drinks are inconsistent across the board. 13. The website advertises 4 sparkling pools in the all inclusive package, however 2 of those pools are private for the swim up rooms only. Pros 1. Massages were good 2. Burgers were good

We visited this awesome hotel for 6 days, has the best time ever. It is just beautiful and the stuff is so friendly and helpful, food was great, the whole stay was incredible. Special thanks to Dafne in guest services she was so helpful before and during our stay. Moises bellboy, Gerardo pool waiter, Javier, Isauro and Daniel at Naos Restaurant. Also Jonathan and Rogelio at pool activities and the girls from the kids club. Thanks to all of you, we had an amazing time.
Disappointment first day

While the hotel seems OK and nice cannot accommodate us for dinner on our first day since we don’t have reservations which is a total disappointment. Wait time is also over an hour for room service to feed three kids
