My husband and I booked last minute to Mazatlan for the first time. We upgraded to an ocean view suite. Our room was on the 5thfloor and well situated in the golden zone. There were nice shops and restaurants close by and just a short pulmonia ride to Mazatlan Centro and the malecon. We had a fridge, stove, toaster, microwave and dishes, as well as a dining room table, and a nice balcony. There was no safe, but we were able to use a complimentary safety deposit box at the front desk. There was also towel service. We had complimentary breakfast, which was good. One day we decided to order breakfast off the menu, which was not complimentary. I ordered shrimp crepes and my husband ordered the lobster omelette. His omelette was good, but my crepes were more like shrimp wrapped in pancakes. The shrimp were good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The beach was somewhat protected from deer island so the waves weren’t too bad. We took a little boat to deer island for $200. Pesos each return. There were no waves there, but a big drop off, versus a gradual beach. It was still nice not to fight the waves. We were able to rent kayaks, a palapa and some chairs. Overall it was a very nice vacation and we’d definitely return to las Flores.

I frequently visit las Flores for lunch and drinks. It’s a friendly atmosphere on the beach. Juan has been my waiter many times. He has always been very attentive to our every need. Great place to people watch, shop on the beach, or swim in one of their two pools. The food is fabulous. Coconut shrimp, tostados, or fajitas are our favorites. We plan to visit again very soon.

    I am so impressed

Arrived today. They didn’t seem to have our reso in the system. But they accommodated us immediately (may have been an oversight by Sunwing) This hotel is amazing! Our room is as perfect as can be. The view is amazing. The staff have been very helpful. Book Las Flores. You won’t be disappointed!!! Best Mexican hotel I have ever been to! The location is top shelf! Checks off all of the boxes for us ??

stayed again at this hotel because of great location but if you like to sleep in past 7am forget it! The construction on the Marriot hotel next door is LOUD and go's on all day. Went with WestJet and they should have warned me and others who book here. Find another hotel and save yourself a headache.

My wife and stayed at Las Flores in January 2019. There are many nice things to say about Las Flores. Pro's - The hotel is clean all around. No smell, not dirty, well maintained. * It's in the heart of the Golden Zone so you are close to many restaurants and shopping areas. * Good check in and check out process very fast * View of ocean nice * No issue with hot water or pressure. * Jr Suite had everything you need to eat in if you want * Bus line only a block away. .25c (10 peso) for the bus Con's * The pools are sandwiched in between other buildings and thus no morning sun and afternoon to shady. Yet you can get on the beach without any issues. * They are building a Marriott next door. Very noisy in mornings. Looks like it will be awhile before they finish * Very little english speaking * Very basic options to eat at hotel if that's your thing If you are simply looking for a room you can relax in with lots of space, something close to most things and you like to walk, then this is your place. I would stay there again as it met our needs and I really like the convenience of the location. FYI - You can shop at the OXXO across the street to get any snacks and drinks. Don't go to walmart or Sams its a waste of time. Oxxo has everything you need. Also across the street is pharmacy.
