Arriving in Montego Bay, pick up your bags, the Couples Lounge is at the far end of the transportation lobby. Have your name checked off the list, cold red stripes, water and bathrooms are available. You will be escorted to an awaiting car. From Montego Bay airport to the resort with moderate traffic was one hour. We were met at the curb with a cold cloth and warm welcome, and escorted to the reception desk. After completing the paperwork for our return to the airport, check out in was quick and effortless. We arrived mid day, room 4110 was ready. The room was first floor ocean view, overlooking a quiet lawn area on to the ocean. I love a cold room where the a/c does not require motion to keep running during the night. Bathroom, single sink vanity, large shower, lit make up mirror, blow dryer. The counter top has plenty of room. The balcony with comfortable table and chairs for 2. We enjoyed having coffee, fresh fruit and pastries each morning watching the sea birds. The room feels light and airy with light oak furnishings. Mini bar is filled with your request each day. Desk, chair, chest round our the room. Rooms were cleaned mid day and turn down service offered every night. Even though the resort is 30 years old the rooms feel fresh. There is an entertainment board as you walk into the Buffett including land sports, water sports, activities throughout the day with entertainment options each night. Motorized water sports are included, you will not be bored. The food is a huge plus at this resort. I never felt I was eating at an all inclusive. Each day the menus were varied, plenty of vegetarian options, fresh seafood including snapper and lobster, pork loin and lamb. And yes, a pizza oven. Room service is also available. Hats off to the executive chef. The staff was amazing always with big smiles. The entertainment team is available but not pushy. We personally truly enjoyed the tennis pro. His coaching was encouraging but also a teacher helping to make your game better. Tennis drills at varying levels morning and late afternoon.

Couples Tower Isle welcomes us with a private lobby complete with free Red Stripe upon arriving into the Jamaican airport. After a bit of a long haul (1.5 hours) to the resort, we were created with warm towels to freshen up, and a drink from the bar. The late night room service was a life saver why first night. We quickly became regulars at the international buffet, and loved all of he nightly entertainment offered at the resort and at the buffet. There was so much to do at the resort itself including glass bottom boat rides, painting classes, couples games (with great prizes), swim up bar, spa, a trip to the falls included, and so much more! We booked a horse back ride in the ocean, which I highly recommend, and enjoyed 2 massages on site. With a trip to the falls wrapping up our trip, we had a good balance of adventure and relaxation. We were blown away with the mini bar service for our room. And loved that we upgraded (totally reasonable price) to an ocean front view. Room service breakfast on the balcony was amazing. My only regret was not going to the island and climbing the tower. I wish there were other clothing optional opportunities to go out there; though we did hear on our last day that you could go out before 9am and climb the tower clothed instead of nude. We are already trying to decide when we will come back or at least come back to another Couples resort. We also loved that a small portion of our stay went towards a school fund set up by the owners! So much was packed in with an amazing price, we couldn’t believe it!

    Best. Vacation.

This was the best time!! I would recommend CTI to anyone!! It was nice to get away and have some adult time. The excursions were limitless and the customer service was out of this world. We stayed 7 days and we could have stayed 7 more!

We recently stayed in a Signature Spa Villa, which despite some small issues that were corrected immediately, was an amazing vacation. The Spa was absolutely top notch with amazing treatment options and included all services and gratuities. The food was wonderful and much higher quality than expected. I highly recommend the private island dinner and the night snorkeling! Customer service was amazing from every employee we interacted with. We will definitely be back!

    As we found it.

We stayed at Couples Tower Isle from the 21 Sept 2019 - 26 Sept 2019. This was our 2nd visit to a Couples resort and our 4th visit to Jamaica. The resort is really nice and has a fabulous Art Deco feel and look. Check in was smooth and quick and our room was spotless and had a fabulous sea view. Its quite a small intimate resort so if your into walking the beach theres no access either side of the resort and its quite restrictive. The beach is quite small with limited shade but we didnt have any trouble getting a beach chair any time of the day. The main pool is a great alternative to the beach and we used it almost daily. The food we found to be quite good and enjoyed the variety. The Patio was the general buffet and restaurant and was very good, the Verandah, Bayside, Eight Rivers and the Grill didn't disappoint. Drinks were fab with the exception for a few occassions, the swim up bar and patio bar were a bit hit and miss if you got the wrong satff member, some were served with no alchohol and if they were given back because they were so bad they came back with too much alchohol and it felt as if a couple of the staff were just throwing them out at times. Snorkelling here is very good off the beach and around the sides, we saw lobster, octopus, puffer, lion fish, baracuda to name a few, an early morning snorkel around the Island was well worth it. Fab. I have only rated this resort as 3 star, the main reason for my rating is the watersport staff, we choose our resorts mainly on the watersport facilities and Couples Tower Isle was a let down in this department. Water skiing was reasonably good apart from the spotter in the boat who appeared to be on another planet, my wife had to alert him that I had come off, he was just staring at the floor. The main bugbear for me was the sailing, they advertise Hobie sailing which I enjoy and for the entire 5 days we were there the Hobie,s didnt leave the beach once, I asked daily and it got embarassing to ask, the weather was perfect for sailing but excuses included "the wind is in the wrong direction", "its a trade wind", "theres not enough wind", "theres too much wind". The watersport staff talk at you from blacked out sunglasses which I found rude and intimidating to say the least, they congregated in the little hove next to the watersports hut chatting all day and seemed put out if they were disturbed, I eventually gave up and complained to management. If there is no sailing at CTI don't advertise it. To round up CTI is a great resort with a few staff let-downs, unfortunately if they are in the area that matters to you it will spoil your time there, which it did for us. We were thankfully fortunate to be able to move on to the CN resort. Would we return to CTI, no I dont think we would.
