I am staying here now! We have been looking forward to this trip for my grandpa 92nd birthday for many months now. We booked a total of 5 rooms and obviously are spending quite a bit of money to be here. Bottom line, if you are used to 5 star resorts do not stay here. The service unfortunately is not friendly or helpful. I usually only write positive reviews but I am pretty disappointed in our experience so far. Spending this much per night to sleep in a double bed across from my husband because there are no kings available is just not acceptable for a booking made over 6 months ago. We asked for assistance from the concierge with dinner reservations at magic kingdom. Not helpful or friendly. I could go on but I feel like the staff has lost touch with how much people are paying to stay here. Very unfortunate. Last time we were here we stayed at the four seasons. One million times better than this. It really feels like the staff here does not care to make you happy or to make the experience special. And, that is very sad for Disney.

I was quite impressed, especially given the mediocre reviews that I have seen about this hotel. Maid service was very good , overall service re any issues that we had were dealt with, sometimes with a greater waste of time than I would have I liked. They were all resolved to my satisfaction . The room was a very nice size, kept quite clean. Service was very good from top to bottom. The pool was great! The water temperature was good, with some pools warmer than others. The location was great with easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The boats and gondolas were easy to access , use and quick. We left Animal Kingdom about an hour after park closing( hint- get on flight of passage line just before closing). The bus back came quickly. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a bus back after extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom, making a long day less magical. Otherwise, we would definitely come back to this hotel. We were definitely impressed and comfortable. We felt like home.

Arrived at Beach Club at 2:50 PM on Jan 4 for our 7 night stay. Check in us at 3:00. Savannah found three rooms for us to pick from. My wife and I chose one on the fourth floor in the part of the building closer to the quiet pool and Epcot entrance. Was told we would get text message when it is actually ready. After waiting until 3:50 I checked with Savannah and was told it could anywhere from 3:00 to 5:00 until it is ready. Finally got a text at 4:20 that room is ready. Bell Service attendant looked at room number on my phone and told me where room was located ( at opposite end of building where Savannah told me where we would be placed). Went back to her and she told me Bell Hop was wrong. The Bell Hop along with my wife and I went to the room which WAS in the opposite end of the building we were told we’d be in but could not get in. Magic bands did not work. Back downstairs to talk to Savannah AGAIN. She said she would take care of it. My wife and Bell Hop meanwhile stayed on fourth floor with our luggage thinking our problem would be fixed quickly. Got another text at 5:20 with new room number. Went there and found it was three doors away from first wrong room. Decided to just take it to avoid further delays and screwups. FINALLY got in room at 5:30. A lot of BS and incompetence in my book. Talked to Savannah one more time and asked her to have someone call me regarding this fiasco. They did call and left a call back number which I called. First person put me on hold for 8 minutes til they connected me wit someone else who then proceeded to connect me with yet another person who had no idea what I was talking about and did NOT really seem to care.

This resort is a short walk to Epcot, and the lake waterway. Buses are always available. Flew in and had Disney package which included bus to and from airport. Huge sand pool, great for kids and adults. Great water slide. Super clean, friendly and professional staff. Lots of places to eat. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, and the grounds are spectacular. On ground airport representative service. This is very convenient. Super service. Would stay here again!!!

I am a seasoned Disney traveler, staying at many deluxe and villas. I can honestly say, we were disappointed with our stay. As for positives, it was very close proximity to Epcot and love being able to visit Yacht Club and Boardwalk resorts. The resort overall was very clean and front desk very nice. Negatives were in abundance. Never found this to be the case at Disney. When we checked in, our room was not ready as it was still early in the day. As it neared 4pm though, we never got an alert our room was ready. Being that it was now after 4pm, this was unacceptable. We finally did get to our room somewhere around 4:30pm. Made service was strange throughout our stay. One day they showed up at 4pm to clean our room, person staying with me was there leaving early in the trip to return home and asked for the made to return shortly. She returned at 7pm. Then the next day showed up at 9am. The walls were the thinnest we've ever experienced in a Disney hotel. Could hear everyone in the hallway and the people next door sounded like they were in out room. Lastly, we booked a garden view room which was on the second floor and had a full balcony. The area outside of our balcony was some sort of service area for towels and other such vehicles. Again very loud. Was so looking forward to staying here but now can honestly say one and done.
