Possible nice place..

We were here for a 2 night stay so my review can really only be based on limited activities utilized during our trip. Firstly, do not pay the extra money for the pirate rooms. Not now, not ever will they be worth as much as they are unless they provide more dining, shopping, and recreational options in the Trinidad area. The walk to all the good stuff is long! And I know long walks... I stay at the AOA mermaid rooms often. This walk trumps that by a long shot. And you WILL hear buses beeping through the room walls and/or door beginning by about 7AM until transportation stops running for the day each night. With that being said, transportation by bus and skyliner were easily accessible from our room. We went over to the AOA and Pop areas via skyliner the first night to eat and play and shop because it was just easier than walking 8 miles to our own resort "fun area". I did have a concern on the walk over to the skyliner though, as there is a really big hill from the edge of the sidewalk that goes directly down into snake/alligator water. All I could think about was my kids goofing off like they always do and ending up down in it. That entire sidewalk could benefit with a railing of some sort to block a disaster from happening. We got off our bus at port royale the last night of our stay so we could finally take in the shops and atmosphere. We sat for a movie for about 30 mins which was super relaxing. We stopped along the "beach" areas on our way back towards trinidad area and my kids laid in one of the hammocks for a bit. I felt overly jealous because everyone not in the pirate room areas had access to IT ALL. The room itself was overly themed. I loved the decor. But the cleanliness was less than par. There were a few things I didn't address the front desk about because they were miniscule and we weren't staying very long to make a stink over it. A spider in my bed here, a dirty towel there, a couple dirty pillow covers that got the pillows a tossing to the floor. Overall, would I stay at this resort again? More than likely not. While the atmosphere beyond the Trinidad area is lovely, the resort itself just isn't my cup of tea. But we came, we saw..
Perfect trip!

We had an amazing trip to CBR! We stayed Presidents’ Day week and it was our first trip to DisneyWorld. We stayed in Trinidad in a Pirate themed room. First off, due to the crazy weather happening all over the country, our flight changed which put us in Florida earlier than planned. We got to the resort at 10am and had not slept much in 24 hours. They were able to get us a room immediately. I had fully expected to put our swim suits on and hang out by the pool until official check in! This was huge and so appreciated. Trinidad is a decent walk from the check in so the Bell services drove us to our building (37) and helped us get into our room. Our Pirate themed room was so much fun. We knew that cleaning services would be limited but we always had clean towels and they restocked the coffee mid trip. Our beds and bedding were very comfortable! Yes the beds are small, but we didn’t care. The walk from Trinidad to Port Royale is long but we enjoyed the pathway along the water. We swam in the main pool and our daughter loved it! Also the pool in Trinidad was perfect for a late quick swim on the warmer nights. Overall, we fell in love with Caribbean Beach and would stay here again without a doubt.
Only downfall was the lack of literature.

This was my husband and my 1st trip to Disney and we stayed the beginning of Feb over the Superbowl. The resort grounds were very nice and as others stated, very spread out. We liked the little man made beaches. They had a great walking path that encompassed the entire resort which was a little over a mile. Our room was decent. Slightly out dated but we didn't care. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and that is what mattered. We were disappointed though that the room didn't have a balcony/patio. Our bad though for not doing the research in advance. I think the thing that frustrated us most was the lack of information available. We used the self check in but upon arrival we realized we had no idea how to get to the room and the app wasn't working. There were no resort maps or literature anywhere that we saw. Remember this place is expansive! We ended up going to the front desk which was very pleasant but gave us a right left right type of directions. Still having no idea we set off...it took us awhile to find our building (#53) because it wasn't marked on the path. We ended up having to venture around in the dark and finally found it. There was also no literature in the room. It would have been nice to have info about the transportation schedules, parks, resort, how to use the shower??, etc. It was very confusing, and in our opinion, the app was not user friendly. We were not able to unlock our door with it the entire time we were there. We tried both the Banana Cabana and the Centertown Market and had fine food at both. Like everything in Disney, overpriced. The individual pools at each building were nice and quiet and fully stocked with towels. Never had trouble getting a chair even though reduced in numbers. All the transportation we utilized was fairly quick and the staff was nice. In fact, all the staff we encountered were very pleasant and followed COVID mask rules. As for entertainment there was none. Perhaps due to COVID? We were a bit disappointed with was the fact that they had nothing for the Superbowl. I understand they couldn't have a big thing but it would have been nice if they could have played it on the same screen they played the outdoor movies on or something. Overall fine hotel was fine but we will not be visiting Disney again.
dirty carpet, dirty bedding , disappointed!

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort the first week of February, 2021. The room overall was dirty! Dirty carpet. The carpeting was noticeably old and hadn't been cleaned in some time. Dirty bedding. The bed covers had noticeable black streaks and dirt marks on them. The pillow cases were questionable at best with their cleanliness. No water pressure. The shower barely had enough pressure to clean up and the water in the sinks almost did not come out but to excessively low pressure. We had to ask for towels because we didn't have housekeeping service for our first three days. They gave us more towels but were tossed under the sink leaving us to question if they were actually clean towels. There were no luggage stands on which to place our suitcases leaving us to place them on the floor for access. we were quite disappointed with our stay in this resort!
Love this resort!

We are so excited to be staying at CBR again this year. We stayed at CBR Feb 2020 right before covid broke out in the USA and as a mom and nurse I feel very comfortable going back in 1 week!!! We are truly excited to be returning and know that although there is some additional walking from pirate rooms to the main lobby we feel that the outdoor space and access to the sky liner makes it a perfect resort during the pandemic. The resort was extremely clean and the pirate rooms had all the touches and details one would expect from a mid level Disney resort. We are so excited to be returning in 8 days :-)!!!
