    The front office manager Cristine is the best, I come back to this hotel every time for her! She always answers all my questions and is the sweetest worker there. She remembered me from my last visit here at the hotel which I loved!

    Location is perfect very close to Universal studios. They offer a shuttle every morning but you need to be sure to get up early to get a reservation because it fills up quickly. Or you can take a Lyft for about $9 each way. Staff is great, looks like the hotel is going through some renovations but they are not bothersome. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the carpet was filthy this was for room 1001. Everything else was great from the self check in and check out with the Hilton app. I would definitely stay here again just not in this same room.

    I understand Covid but this service was disgusting!

    I booked online for a 5 night stay. I ordered a king but got a double room which I was ok with but the tub had tiny little bugs crawling around in it. I called front desk they said this was normal! Then when I turned the water on in the tub, it was black and tarnished and sounded like the water in the room had not been turned on in months! then the sink stopped up and it smelled like raw sewerage. :^( I called the front desk and asked to be moved and was told due to Covid, I couldn't be moved to another room but they would send maintenance up. Maintenance tells me I have to leave the room while they work?? Then I want to get lunch at 2pm I call the front desk and they tell me Sunrise Café is open. I go down to the Café, they are not open. I go to the front desk and ask what the issue is...Due to COVID the café won't be open until 4pm!? So I can walk across a busy street to TGI Friday's or starve until 4pm. Then 4 days into the stay, I need fresh towels and washcloths, I call the front desk and they say the will send someone up with fresh ones. That didn't happen that day and I had to call 3 more times before they dropped off a clear plastic bag full of towels & washcloths. To add insult to injury - they had the audacity to have have a rewards member standing out in the lobby on our check out day asking if I was a rewards member so they can "pay for me a trip to Hawaii" I was very honest when I told him this was the worst hotel stay me and my 8 year old son has ever had and we will never stay at this hotel chain ever again! I understand that we are dealing with COVID19 but for the way I was treated, the hotel stay should have been free!

    Just returned from three nights at this property. Every staff member we came in contact with so so friendly! Anything we wanted to do outside of the hotel was only minutes away so it was an easy drive or an inexpensive Uber ride. We spent at least an hour or so each night having a drink and a bite at the grill in the lobby. Sue the bartender was a highlight of our trip! She was so sweet and gave us great recommendations. We will definitely visit this property again.

    Every time I stay at this hotel it just gets worse and worse, its really a shame. In 2018, the hotel was going through refurbishment (so they said) so the on-site restaurants weren't serving food and the pool was closed. In 2019, I had 2 separate reservations that they couldn't merge together, so I had to move rooms in the middle of my stay, not to mention that the parking gates were open the entire time and they still made me pay for parking. This year, COVID, all the restaurants were closed, room service wasn't being offered, there was blood on the duvet in my room when I first got there, and on top of that, the parking gates were left open AGAIN and I was STILL charged for parking. I've stayed here in October for HHN at Universal, and its been convenient, and am a Hilton Honors member, but this will be the last year that I stay here because it's just been unacceptable. I definitely would not recommend. I was not offered an upgrade and there were no breakfast options for gold members.
