We are owners so we decided to take a long weekend trip to Orlando for 3 nights to enjoy much needed time away from home. We had a 2 bedroom villa in the Falls building and the room itself was amazing. It was so spacious, comfortable, and relaxing to come back to after long days at Disney. There is also a Walgreens beside the resort to suit your grocery needs and it is only a 10-15 minute drive to the Disney parks, ($11 by uber). The only negative was that the resort is so huge that you cannot walk from your room to the lobby, certain restaurants, or pools and instead have to call a shuttle that may take up to 40 minutes to come during peak times. We like the convenience of being able to walk from our room to these places so make sure to request a villa near one of the 7 pools.

A multiple visitor to Vistana, we are always impressed by the quality of the resort and the staff. The villas are very clean and well maintained. Recreational activities are abundant and the pools are superb. One of the best places to stay in Orlando!

The resort itself was quite pleasant and clean. I liked the pools and my boys loved the arcade. Overall we had a decent stay and found the resort itself relaxing. What we did not find relaxing was the timeshare aspect of the property. It's too bad this property associates itself with these pushy lying scammers. If you are staying here, enjoy the resort but don't go for the "deals" on local attractions that are in the lobby cause it's just a trap. The resort has so much going for it with the pools and late night eats.... the units aren't anything super fancy but clean and well kept. I'd go back if it wasn't for the pit in my stomach feeling having been pressured into an "explorer package" that I can't even use..... stealing really is what it is. Not saying don't go to this resort but I wouldn't go for any special meetings.

We exchanged a week from our home resort with RCI, and stayed here. Check-in was fast, and no problem. I asked " Will " (I think that was his name) if he could suggest any upgrades or had any better rooms open that we could get in. He was able to put us in a top floor, end of the hall room in the Cascades section. Two bedroom with full kitchen and laundry (which is what we booked, but he said this was a better location). The lobby looked like it was just remodeled. The room was on the 5th floor of building 11 I think. We were within walking distance to the main pool (3 minutes) and the little general store was a 5 minute walk from the room. General store was nice, had everything you would need in a pinch...but you pay a premium of course. We didn't do much at the resort since we had plans for Disney, Sea World, etc.every day. But we did make it to 2 of the pools which were nice. We did get a price sheet for tickets to area attractions, which were a few dollars more than we found through AAA. The room we had was clean and everything worked. However, maybe the only downside to the stay here were the BEDS and PILLOWS.. Our king bed was hard as a rock. This coming from someone who likes harder beds. Also, the pillows we had provided NO support at all. I actually had to ball it up and tie the end of the pillow case so it would stay bunched up. We didn't complain or ask for new pillows....but you should probably consider bringing your own pillow. The bed/pillow situation was enough of a annoyance for me to tell you all about it. I guess the perk of staying here is that it's right next to Disney.. and you get a kitchen to cook meals.

We stayed here 3 nights in a 2BR villa in building 42. Positives: -Room was large and spacious, has everything you need for an extended stay. The washer/dryer and full kitchen is a nice bonus. -Close to Disney and Disney Springs, a short Uber/Lyft ride to the parks, appx $11. Ends up being the same or less than paying $25 parking at Disney parks. If you have little kids, Uber car seat is about $20-$25 each way. -Price was reasonable -Pools were pretty nice and updated -Beds were comfortable and firm Negatives: -Room smelled horrible. Damp, mildew smell that smacks you right in the face when you walk in. All your belongings will smell and feel damp even with the AC cranked. I had to wash all our stuff when I got home regardless if it was dirty because everything smelled. We had other family members staying in a different room and it smelled the same. -The cleaning was questionable; I found a piece of glass on the floor and the glassware/coasters looked like they hadn’t been replaced in several stays. -The safe was broken and the toilet was loose/separated from the floor. -There is a timeshare sales push. I read the reviews beforehand so I knew what to expect. I politely declined without feeling pressure. -Furniture, decor, carpet, etc. was dated -No elevator Nearby: A large Walgreens with an expanded selection of grocery items to include liquor and beer/wine, Chick-fil-A, Hurricane grill & wings, Starbucks. I would not recommend staying here solely based on the damp mildew basement smell in the room.
