This was our second time in Neuvo Vallarta. There was amazing service at the restaurant so we ate there pretty much every day. Shout out to Daniel, Elixir and Alfredo! The hotel was clean and the front desk was very helpful whenever we had questions. Food was great and we had a wonderful time

We had the best time at the Krystal Grand. The staff, Marco, Enrique, Jesus, and Miguel made sure our group of 21 amigos were well taken care of. They were kind, fast, and very friendly. We all left happy and would return, as well as recommend to others.

Stayed at this resort from Feb 27 to March 12. We where a group of 6 couples. Check in was fast and off to our rooms we went. We were spread out through the resort which was not a big deal as everything is within easy access. Our room was clean and well stocked with all the basics. Bed was comfy, air worked great. Lots of hot water and cleaned daily. Balcony was nice and overlooked the pool. All areas are well maintained. Pools are cleaned in the morning and maintenance and grounds keeping is ongoing all day. A big shout out to these hard workers. Beach and pools are well maintained and loungers and chairs where available on a "first come" basis. One good thing about this was that Marco was on top of the chair hogs and would remove towels if the chairs were not occupied in a reasonable time. Beach was clean the ocean was was swimmable most days. Easy to walk in both directions. The food was awesome here. Buffet always had a fantastic selection for all meals. The snack bar at the pool was very good too. Did three a la carts and they were all really good. Drinks from the bars were all very good. Service was top notch. Some things that they need to work on are as follows, Upgrade the wifi. ( Was told its in the works) Need tables and chairs in the lobby bar. Upgrade the sports bar or just make an area bigger for us crazy hockey fans to watch the games. Go Jets Go! Need to be able to order taxi vans up to the front door. Finally, The Staff The staff here is second to no one. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and keep you informed. Problems are promptly addressed and corrected. Always smiling. Just a couple of personal shout outs to the following staff members, Jorge at the front desk. Awesome guy and always wanting to know how our day was going. Axel in the lobby. Wow!!! What a bundle of energy. Goes out of his way to check on you and how your day is going. Marco at the pool. A wealth of knowledge and always quick to solve problems or get info for you. Caesar and the pool entertainment staff. Awesome job you guys and gals. Adrien and Eduardo, the pool and beach servers. These two men work their asses off to keep the refreshments coming. Always smiling and quick to joke around with us. All the buffet staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your requests. Two guys that really stood out to us were Alejandro and Caesar (the magician). Again they both were just so friendly and upbeat all the time. So many other staff members to thank and I wish i could remember all their names. Just a note to the senior management team at Krystal Grand. You have a work in progress going on and I think a fantastic future for this resort. Your staff should be commended for their hard work, dedication and genuine care for us visitors to your facilities. Best of luck in the future. Thanks Bruce and Ingrid

Excellent place to stay! Resort is very well maintained, staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. Entertainment program was great, lots of activities for kids and adults. Good dining selection, there are options for everyone’s liking and preferences. Highly recommend this place, will have to visit again.
VERY poor rooms

I don't think I have ever had such a negative room experience at an all inclusive resort before. First off, my fiancée and I were put into a room that was smaller than the size of my bedroom back at home..no big deal sure, but it doesn't make sense when everyone we are travelling with paid the exact same amount....and have much bigger, more spacious rooms! So, we went and told them just that and they said they would move us to a nicer bigger room the next day. The next day (today) we go, and surprise, they had no idea what we were talking about. But eventually they said they had a room for us and to come back in an hour. Flash forward, we're given a much bigger room, much like our travel mates. However, currently, the toilet doesn't flush, it smells like sewage, the sink is plugged up, and the fridge is not cold. We called at 6pm to report the toilet. We then went for dinner and came back to the room and the lid of the toilet was still on the ground, indicating that they did not come look at the toilet yet. Then...we called the front desk to see why they hadn't come fix the toilet yet and they LIED to us and said someone had been by and it's fixed. We said...no, no one has even been here, what the heck? The lid is still on the ground and the toilet is still not flushing. And then at 9pm, someone FINALLY came and confirmed the toilet is broken. He left like 25 mins ago and said he'd be back in 20 mins to try to fix it again...he is still not back...we haven't even got to the sink being plugged up and the frigde not working! Stress in regards to the room you stay at at an all inclusive should NOT be a thing. My fiancée and I are currently stressed and STILL waiting for our toilet to be fixed. SIGH....not cool. I would NOT recommend this resort just based purely on our negative room experience and poor customer service response. I am not one to complain ever or write a negative review on TripAdvisor, but this is beyond ridiculous. This should be a stress free amazing vacation...not this. :(
