Beautiful resort, great service and much to do. Numerous parks available with every type of diversion you can think of and the parks are all included in your stay. The resort is only approximately 3 years old and it is spotless. Service is fantastic and very friendly. Best part is 80 degrees and sunny.

Our family of four just returned from the trip of a lifetime, Exaggeration? No way! We spent a couple months thoroughly researching the best all inclusives in Mexico that were 5 star but had an excellent reputation for food, beach enjoyment and fun excursions. Well guess what? We only found one that checked all these boxes. Hotel Xcaret! And let me tell you this place delivers. You step out of the airport and are driven directly to the hotel (no stops at other hotels) where you are greeted with a cold towel and popsicles. But let's talk about the smell of the lobby for a moment, soooo heavenly, pure genius on the hotels part. I want to book a ticket to go back tomorrow for that glorious scent alone. The grounds are fantastic with so much to see and explore. Plenty of places to relax and sunbathe or swim. No getting up early to reserve beach chairs as I read in reviews for other hotels. The restaurants are all great as well, I ate and drank with wild abandon and had not one stomach issue. I drank the water, chomped on ice and felt great the entire week ( they filter their own water) There is so much to do, one week is not enough! We only went to 4 of the parks because we also wanted to enjoy this beautiful hotel. But do you know what really makes Hotel Xcaret so very special? It's the staff. Period. We were treated like true cherished guests. Another exaggeration? Again, no! There is no discrimination of colour, creed or race that we experienced in this hotel. A concern I honestly had prior to coming here. And any reasonable request was granted with a smile. I need to shout out just a few of the ultimate professionals I encountered in my 7 days there. Oscar at Las Cuevas, Aaron at Xin Gao, Angelina at Mercado, Angel at the bar by Bio (my favorite!), Betty at Fuego pool, Ambrosio, Pedro, Alenjandra and Lourdes at Fuego restaurant. There are many more names that I did not get sadly but whom were just as fantastic. I would definitely also like to thank Mr. Carlos Ortiz for resolving the serious issue with our room in such a speedy and efficient manner and allowing us to experience Fuego. We now only want to stay there on our guaranteed return trip! And a sincere thanks to Mr. Alberto Palacious for his professionalism and understanding and ensuring all our reservations were booked. So to anyone on the fence about booking your special vacation here, do not worry. Hotel Xcaret is worth every penny we spent!

This was our third vacation to Hotel Xcaret. The first year we had a river view room, the second year we had an Ocean View room (and ended up with Ocean Front for the last two days), and this year we booked a simple Garden View. I had sent an email ahead asking for a garden view that had a little privacy, as my wife likes to sit on the Balcony in the morning and evening and read. I got a response within a day, and it sounded promising. When we checked in, the young lady offered a good deal on an upgrade to a river view room in the Fuego section, which, after considering for about 20 seconds, we took. One of the best decisions I ever made, and the wife was floored by the view and the services included with the Fuego. Our river view was better than that....it had a great view of the ocean, although it was hard to hear the waves of the ocean because the waterfall into the river kind of drowned it out. Don't mis-interpret this as a complaint; it is not. Everything was spectacular. There was a minor downside in that you would also see the expansion of the hotel on the other side of the espiral. They are building an almost mirror image of the present hotel on the opposite side. But the noise was minimal, and of course there will always be progress. It was not hard to see past the construction, as the remainder of the view was beautiful as always. The room was basically the same great room that we had in the other locations of the resort that we stayed at previously. The rooms are well thought out, spacious, and modern. The real bonus of the upgrade to Fuego was the Fuego restaurant, and the Butler/concierge service. We used this for making reservations to the 2 a-la-cartes that we wanted to attend as well as to book a trip to Xavage park. Another Fuego perk was the roof top pool and bar. Mind you, we were floored by the levels of service everywhere we went in the hotel, not just at the Fuego section. As well, the Fuego level gets you into the Sunday Brunch in the espiral, otherwise it is a $55USD charge to attend. The brunch was something else, and it would have been very easy to over-indulge there. I found it a little noisy there however, and preferred the quiet of the Fuego restaurant, where we ate the majority of our meals. While the grounds, the food, the rooms, the all-inclusive to the parks, and just about everything else I can think of in regard to this hotel are second to none, the one thing that really stands out are the management and the employees. They are truly the gems in the whole set-up. I would really like to give a shout-out and a thank you to our two morning/lunch waiters at the Fuego restaurant: David and Horlando. They are the perfect mix of humour and professionalism in what they do, and it was a pleasure to see them each day. I could go on and on about this hotel, but I'm not sure I would be saying anything that hasn't already been said in the 5000+ excellent reviews given to this resort. I can be pretty certain that you will be discovering things from the time you get there until the time you leave. I will offer three things to do on the resort that we found special. They are: 1: Sunday Church Service in the Cathedral on top of the Espiral. It's at 10am. This is the second year my wife went to it, and although the service is in Spanish, she was very moved by it. The view during the service is stunning. 2: In the Marcado buffet, the cook will grill a flank steak and put it onto fresh torilla shells, and the fixins are there to make your own tacos. I overdid it on the habanero sauce last year, but got it near perfect this year. Delicious. 3: If you are in Fuego section, look out the elevator as it passes the second floor. There is a Coati who can usually be found sleeping up in a nest in the tree about 3 feet from the glass. He seems oblivious to the elevator going past him again and again... I am now into withdrawal from the magic that is Xcaret, and longingly looking forward to next year.

Every positive review of this place is true. It's a visually stunning, next level all inclusive that you need to have booked yesterday! This was my second time visiting (first was in June 2018 as a early 30's couple without our kids) and this place is truly a gem. It will sour your love of any other all-inclusive. This is a fact. This trip included myself, husband, my 60-something mother, and our 3 children ages 13, 6 and almost 2. I'll expound some but overall 5 stars from everyone! We were given 2 rooms near the "middle" pool with the swim up bar which ended up being perfect for randomly needed drinks going to or leaving our room lol. They weren't connecting but they were just a room away from one another. Much appreciated. We weren't harassed for time share presentations this or the prior visit. One note: There are strollers everywhere (love!) which was a blessing because our 2 year old REFUSED to walk the entire trip. This aided in our general navigation of the hotel and property. We mostly went to the buffet which has something for everyone. My husband is vegan, I'm vegetarian and with 2 out of 3 kids being ultra picky, there was always something for someone. We also loved Xin-Gao and they even custom made my husband and I some tofu dishes. We did not do the hibachi there but maybe next time. The kids also loved the restaurant by the kids pool. It is HOT and it's outside but a kid fav for sure. As you should know, all parks are included. Our older kids went to Xplor Fuego with us on night one but we left the little one at the hotel with my mom that evening. Next day was Xel-Ha (challenging for AND with the 2 year old...probably don't take toddlers there) and the next day we took the little boat to Xcaret Park which we enjoyed. We also did Xenses the same day and it was challenging to fit in but doable for sure. Also LOVED Xenses. My mom said it was her favorite park by far. The final night we utilized the babysitting agency the hotel works with (for a fee) and they were WONDERFUL. This allowed us some free time and we took my mom and the older kids to Xoximilco. Absolutely amazing time and no regrets about leaving the 2 year old with the awesome babysitter. My two year old is VERY VERY difficult and not the friendliest child in any capacity and there were NO problems at all. Can't say enough good about the experience. They were super communicative and thorough. The drinks are strong, the property is absolutely stun-ning beyond comprehension, the service is unmatched and the food is good. Even without including the parks in the price it's worth it. Once you add those in...there is NOT a better deal in the Riviera Maya or Cancun and maybe the Caribbean...especially regarding AI's. Book now. You'll have no regrets.
