The Airport Community Giving program empowers WestJetters to be active participants in the communities where they live and work. Through this program, eligible community organizations can apply, and WestJetters across our network have the opportunity to review and support with an in-kind donation of the gift of flight based on their community's local needs and priorities. The Airport Community Giving program also supports children's hospitals and pediatric wards across Canada. We recognize the vital contributions these institutions make in communities by treating millions of children for every disease and injury imaginable. Children's hospitals and pediatric wards provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research, and preventative education for children and their families every day.

One-way flights donated
The gift of flight is an in-kind (non-cash) donation of one round-trip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination, which must be used for fundraising purposes as either an auction or raffle prize. For auction, the gift of flight voucher must be packaged with another item to create an experience such as a ski trip or spa package. If this isn’t possible, it is required that the voucher is raffled, not auctioned.

Community programs, initiatives and non-profit organizations are encouraged to review the Giving Guidelines and eligibility criteria ahead of applying for assistance. If your initiative fits within the Giving Guidelines, please submit an in-kind gift-of-flight donation request through our online request form.
