Nothing special

Rooms need updating badly. Beds are springy and dig into you. Bathrooms are falling apart. We’re right near the beach on the bottom level. The beach is small. Pools are very small. The food is edible. The snack bar has better food than the buffet. The Italian place was good. Staff are amazing and work very hard to make your stay pleasant .Rooms are cleaned every two days. You need to ask for new towels. Bring your beach towel with you at the end of the day. No fresh ones until middle of the following day. Not sure what to say about the safe in our room. Felt weird leaving my things in there. For those who love to drink, they over pour alcohol. Entertainment was fun. They make you hurry out of your room 6 hours before your flight. 2 hours before our private cab comes to get us. They do offer courtesy rooms to freshen up with an 30 minute limit. Over all our stay was pleasant. I think there are better places to stay. Weather was phenomenal.

Celebrated my birthday 3-20-24 and I had a wonderful experience. I was serenaded by the staff during breakfast The staff I met was very friendly and helpful especially Anne-Marie and Ashly! The food and beverages were great. Ashly introduced me to the Bob Marley drink. So many people asked where I had gotten it from then a while after I saw them with it. Lastly, the Aloe Vera rejuvenating session by Anne-Marie was awesome! Will definitely visit again and refer others.
Authentic Carribean Resort

Long story short, this place was amazing and we would return in a flash. Food - The food was great we ate at every restaurant and enjoyed everything. Even the buffet was great. There wasn't even one meal that I was slightly disappointed with. Accommodations - We really enjoyed our room. We stayed in an Ocean View Room up the hill. We really enjoyed the views and the nice ocean breeze. We kept our balcony door and windows open all night long and turned off the AC when we were in the room. It was so nice to hear the waves as you fall asleep. The bed was nice and comfortable and we slept great. Staff - this one can really make or break a resort and Pineapple Beach Club passed with flying colours. Absolutely everyone was very genuine and friendly, and I mean everyone, even the guard at the front gate who we asked for directions on how to walk to Devils Bridge. Bars - The drinks were flowing. They make lots of fancy beach drinks or anything else that you ask them to make. If you want the high end spirits they have at the bar just ask and they will give it to you. A big plus is that they serve everyone very quickly. I never had to wait long for a drink and one night I was having their locally brewed beer all night, the bartender would see me coming and pour two beers for me before I got to the bar. The bars do shut down around 11-12 but for us that was late enough. Activities - They have so much to do and the beach is amazing. The sailboats and kayaks go out anytime it is safe to do so. I sailed every day there wasn't a red flag. They also had a lot of great games, trivia and entertainment. As well they have some amazing Tennis and Pickleball courts as well as a great fitness centre. The guests - This was the best part about the resort. We met so many amazing people. It seems like a lot of people that come here are all on the same wavelength. It seems like this resort attracts people who are there for a low stress vacation and to have a good time. Lastly if you are looking for a resort where you will be waited on hand and foot, go elsewhere. This resort is authentic Caribbean, the service is great but it has laid back feel. I left there so relaxed after just a week. I have been to quite a few places in the Caribbean and so far this is the only place that I would return to.
Better Than I Could Imagine

We just got home yesterday from a wonderful week of new memories, friends and experiences! Our room was way beyond what we expected (Premium Oceanview, 10/10). Hilltop couples dinner was absolutely stunning and amazing! (6pm to watch sunset and the coconut chicken skewers were to die for). Ann-Marie and the rest of the entertainment staff could not have been thanked enough for such a welcoming and fun weekend! They go above and beyond to become friends more than just workers at the resort and it’s an amazing feeling of being part of the family. We are 26/27 so we were some of the youngest ones there but the vibe is exactly what we were looking for. Older people know how to party and have fun without being sloppy and that’s what we loved. Everything from the entertainment, to visiting the verandah, to the water sports were fun and exciting! Note our only complaint is that the food all closes by 11pm (orders stopped at 10:45) so we went a few days after sitting at the bar without food. So maybe just a place opened until right after the bar would be nice. But we did love how late the coffee shop stayed open! (11pm). Lastly I want to give the bartenders a shout out! Not only were they quick and responsive, but they remembered what you liked and were always offering new options to try! We loved giving them a type of alcohol to use and seeing what they would come up with for us! We loved every moment here and we have already talked about coming back in the future! Make sure to check out Shirley Heights and The Rum Academy rum making while on the island.
Beautiful beach, resort needs upgrades

My husband and I recently returned from a vacation at one of your resorts. It is called Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua. We were very, very disappointed with the resort and the service we received. We were traveling with another couple, Eileen and Joseph Dellaselva. This was a long planned trip, over 6 months. We wrote to you requesting ground floor rooms next to each other. This did not happen. The fact that you now only offer room cleaning every two days is not the end of the world BUT to now charge resort fees is unacceptable. The list of things that should not happen at an all inclusive resort is many and I am going to attempt to list them. THE BUFFET: to start with, to have to wait in line to check in is ridiculous, the amount of wasted time when it happens 3 times a day. Many times during each service food bowls on the buffet were left empty. If you could find staff to ask they would disappear into the kitchen and not return for at least 10 minutes. It was hit or miss if there was yogurt for breakfast, many times there was none for days, the same with the guacamole. Sorry, no excuse for this. THE BAR: it was a standing joke (not really funny) what will they be out of today, usually it was lemons, limes and mint. I know they also ran out of some liquor as well. PHONES: I can’t count the number of times we tried to reach the Front Desk, never mind Tours Desk, etc., I was very upset as I felt that if we had an emergency we were on our own. THE BEACH: well it is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited. The staff kept it very clean. The problem is the beach chairs. Not enough of them and many of them are falling apart. There is also not enough shade structures. And the beach towels run out by lunch time. The other issue is that the visitors from The Veranda arrive daily and take many of the chairs on the beach and add to the food running out at the buffet. I would like to commend some of the staff that went about and beyond. Tamara from housekeeping helped our friends out when their room wasn’t cleaned as scheduled. This was not her job BUT she did it anyway. And not just a spot clean! Annika (unsure of the spelling) she is the lady that makes reservations for the special restaurants. But she does so much more. She is a wonderful addition to your staff. I honestly feel that this resort should not be rated above a 3 1/2 star. We spent a lot of money on this vacation, including upgrades and feel we did not get our money’s worth. I am hoping that I will hear back from you with some real answers. Doreen Themens George
