This was our 2nd time back and there will probably be a third. Everyone from the minute you walk onto the resort in friendly & helpful. We could walk out our door right onto the beach or enjoy one of the pools. All of the restaurants and the buffet are amazing and the bars are a lot of fun.

My wife and I was invited to our friends wedding, me best man, so had a week out here. Simple review is what a great resort, food, staff, location, golf, premium drinks a plenty. Seriously all good needs an update at some point but who cares. The wedding at both civil hall and the beach was catered for incredibly well and all went as planned with a really nice meal in the Red Parrot for the reception. Tried most restaurants but to be fair the selection in the buffet was amazing and staff more than just there for you very attentive. Entertainment was a bit better than expected and very varied including bingo round the small pool in the afternoon which got everyone involved with good spirits and the odd cocktail. All in all a great place to stay a great wedding with friends and family. Thanks again.

Our 3rd visit to the Tam in three years and would go back tomorrow. Staff everywhere wonderful, our maid was a really lovely lady, always smiling even though it was very hot. Food excellent, drinks somewhat watered down this year but hey who cares the sun shone everyday. One thing I would suggest is to take sea shoes as lots of coral and stones in the water this year. The walk along from the Divi to the High Rise along the waters edge was amazing.

We stayed at the Tamarijn for 2 weeks and we absolutely loved it! We flew with TUI and they check you in on the bus which is great as you don’t have to mess about in long lines at reception and luggage is taken straight to your room. We were in room 1501 which is about the 3rd block from the pool - perfect location! The rooms are very clean and spacious and have everything you need. Even have USB ports to charge your phones in the alarm clock. Bathroom was great had a nice walk in shower and large mirror with hair dryer, shampoo and body wash is provided. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily too if requested. The view is amazing!! All rooms at the Tamarijn are directly on the beach it’s absolute paradise! The resort is so chilled and there is no stress to get a sun lounger like some places I’ve stayed. The food is amazing too! I’m not a fan of buffets in hotels but the buffet here is gorgeous and there’s something for everyone. The restaurants are great too - red parrot was our favourite it’s a lovely atmosphere and really pretty setting. The staff at the Tamarijn really make this place extra special. Andrea who works in the pool bar is so lovely, nothing was ever too much for the staff here. I’ve seen reviews of the rooms being dated etc and although they aren’t the newest of decor they are still lovely and in my opinion if you come all the way to a beautiful island such as Aruba and spend all your time in the room - stay at home!! We’ve loved it here and would deffo recommend - much better than the high rise especially for the beach views and chilled atmosphere. We will be back next year for sure!!

Review of Tamarijn and Divi Resort....the good and the bad.

When we first arrived to Tamarijn Resort, the check in was fairly quick. The reception explained everything to us, plus gave us a bag with two water bottles. Those water bottles were awesome. We were able to fill the water at the coolers that are all over the resort. We were able to make dinner reservations fairly easy. Never had to wait on line to speak to anyone. ROOM: we stayed at the lower number section....the section is rooms 1200-1400. this is basically towards the beginning of the hotel where it connects you to Divi resort. There are rocks outside of these rooms. We did not mind as it was more quiet in this section. I felt like i was in a private beach. You can walk out of your room and tan right in front of your room. You can walk to the water, but you should wear water shoes since you will have to walk on the rocks to get into the water. This section is closer to the bars and restaurants. You can get a room in the higher number, where there are less rocks and more powdery like sand but a further walk to the bars. The room was small. We ended up getting two queen bed instead of a king, which we didnt mind since we ended up using 1 bed for our clothes and stuff. The room and bathroom was small but clean. Some reviews indicated how bad the rooms were, but honestly its really not what they said it was. It was clean. It was comfy and had really strong cold AC! Has a safe and a mini fridge. The rooms are a tad outdated but i didnt mind as long as it was clean! Food/bar: The bars were good at both Divi and Tamarijn resort. Both had nice drinks and decent snacks. The buffet was pretty good. However, the restaurants really needs a reality check. We ate at the red parrot (italian), ginger (asian), purelime (mexican) for dinner. I cannot say any of the restaurants were all that great. It was okay....it wasnt horrible it wasnt disgusting. It was just okay. There is room for improvement that's for sure! I think if the food was better at this resort, i would give it a 10 out of 10. I felt it was like a 7/8 out of 10. I really don't have any other complaints besides the food at the restaurants. The bar had nice stiff drinks. The staff were nice and friendly. If you're at the beach or pool, you have to go get your own drinks at the bar and bring straws! they do not provide straws. There's an espresso machine in the room which was nice. One day i took a plate of food from the buffet to the room and no one said anything to me so don't feel awkward doing so. There is also NO room service. I've been spoiled with room service in the other all inclusives i've been to!
