Gerry in the breakfast restaurant was amazingly accommodating during a huge breakfast rush. She was pleasant, accommodating, and very professional. You are very lucky to have somebody so pleasant to work with your guests. I her warmth, and smile, were contagious.

We arrived for our 1 night stay at 1:30pm and asked if our room was ready could we go in early. We were told that there is a $ 15 charge to check in early even though the room was ready. We were told that there is a $10 charge if you want to check out late which was not our plan. We then found out that there is a charge to park. The use of the “free laundry is $3 per load. Dogs are welcome for an additional $75. Housekeeping is provided once every 7 days. The trash can was completely full under the sink. Ridiculous.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Sonesta Ft Lauderdale. The hotel is beautiful, super clean and the staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was perfectly sized and decorated. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. The pool and poolside bar are beautiful and the cocktails were delicious. The hotel has a great location, across the street from the beach and in between The Bonnet House and a State Park. There is an electric bike rental on the property and a water taxi stop is a 3 minute walk. If you are looking for an adult stay in Ft Lauderdale this is a perfect location - quiet but close to the action! We are looking forward to our next stay at a Sonesta!

This is a great hotel, my best experience was the beach, it was something impressive, the guy who works on the beach, Rafael, was very kind, tremendous attention at the hotel, I was treated by an excellent worker, I left very satisfied with my vacation.

We booked in several weeks in advance and maybe we should have checked but!! Nice hotel and great location but there is NO PARKING and it's valet parking only at $51 per night!!! It's a shame as it's a nice hotel apart from that...great beach front location
