We traveled with our family of MIL, 2 adults and 2 under 10 and this hotel fit us perfectly. The rooms were large and clean. We loved the split layout in our 2 room suite because we felt like we had our own space. We liked that we could use the amenities at the sister hotel however felt the Nanea was the better mix for families without being too party or overrun with kids. We whale watched every morning and sunset from our room or beach. The moon just stayed in our balcony all night. The kids loved the tub! Although we didn't use the grills or kitchen we liked having the option. We only ate at pool and pool side restaurant but food was good and servers very attentive without being too much. Although the pool was busy we always found chairs. Staff at pool house super friendly. I recommend getting snorkel for the week and exploring around the hotel. The beach and water are amazing. I am super picky and felt the sheets, floors, bathrooms, couch and shared hallways were very clean. I loved having a washer and dryer! I really can't think of a negative. Amazing hotel for one of our best trips yet!

We are vacation owners at Westin Kierland in Scottsdale and traded a 2 bedroom villa for a 2 bedroom villa at the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas during February. We were assigned room 7607 (Building 7, Floor 6, Unit 7) which was a great room. We loved the location as our view of the ocean was outstanding! Unlike the lockoff two bedroom villas at other Hawaii Westin vacation resorts, this unit had only one entry with a bedroom located on each side of the living area. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary cooking and kitchen items we needed. There was a dining table and chairs for six and the living area comfortably accommodated four people. The lanai included a table and four chairs and we had a fantastic view and viewed many whales right from the balcony of our villa. Each bedroom had a king sized Westin Heavenly Bed and the master bath included a large soaking tub, separate shower, separate enclosed toilet and double sinks. The second bathroom adjoined the guest bedroom and also was accessible from the living area. The second bathroom also included the washer and dryer. Check-in was quick and friendly. Once we got our bearings, it was easy to find our way around the resort. There was a large main pool and two very small plunge type pools. There weren’t many people around the plunge pools, so it was a great place to spend some quiet time. We loved the grilling area and found it a great place to meet and talk with others at the resort while grilling! This resort does not have an adults only pool, but we were directed to the Westin Ka’anapali North resort for that option. We ate at the Mauka Maki restaurant after our arrival on Friday evening. The food was very good for a buffet. There is a small store where you can buy food items, liquor, prepared foods, ice and other items. The resort is very close to an Avis Rental Car Shop (a few minutes walk) which we found very convenient as we rented a car for a few days during our stay. The resort provides two complimentary shuttles. The first runs every twenty minutes in a loop to each of the Westin resorts (Nanea, Ka'anapali North, Sheraton and Westin (which is where Whalers Village is located). The second shuttle runs in a loop to the stops listed above plus three additional stops in Lahaina, including the Safeway and Downtown Lahaina. We loved the Westin Nanea Ocean Villas. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The villas were clean and also well maintained. Parking is free in the parking garage for owners. We found all of the staff to be more than friendly and welcoming and we would love to visit again someday.

The Westin Nanea is an exceptional property. We stayed in 1 bdrm end of Feb 2020. We wanted tp go in Feb to see the whales. We were not disappointed. Whale watching right from shore. Also saw dolphins. The beachfront at Nanea and the other Westin Villa properties is very nice with good snorkeling. We did not use the pool very often on this trip but it is nice with lots of families. We were fortunate to get resort view room with a good view of the ocean and sunset.

We left right before the shelter in place although I would of loved to have been quarantined there! Bedding at Westin’s are always the best! All four of us were very comfortable in the 2 bedroom villa!

Spent a week at the Westin Villas for a family spring break trip in a 2 bedroom ocean view suite. Highly recommend this type of unit and go ahead and pay for the view, great to have a kitchen and living room since we were there for a week. Great location, walking distance to several great Restaurants, we enjoy walking over to Duke’s. Whalers village is walkable on the path and makes for an enjoyable morning stroll. The pool complex was very nice, usually plenty of chairs, the beach could use a few more chairs to be checked out. The food and drinks at the pool bar were convenient and good and the service was always top notch.
