Decent Room, but Harrah's has really fallen down on amenities.

Michael O (Janesville, Wisconsin) on Apr 12, 2024

Room itself is nice, Beware that the door to the bathroom is translucent so at night when someone goes in and turns on the light it lights up the room, in part due to the big mirror across from the door. The shower has no door and the design allows water to splash all over the tile floor making it very slippery. The beds have a wooden frame on them that caused an injury on my friends shin. ( This happened in a past trip to me) The room did have a keurig style coffee maker.(would have needed to know that ahead of time to bring pods) Door to the bathroom is a slider so if someone opens the safe the door can run into it. The workout room has continued to be diminished to the size of an old Holiday Inn. no more hot tub or steam room. (Pretty pathetic) Breakfast???? You'll have to go to McDonalds or the hash house next door. Fulton Street used to serve breakfast but alas, no more. Probably not staying at Harrahs next time. On a very positive note I had lost my phone on the property and the security people found it and delivered it to my room (GREAT WORK)

Pick another hotel

ElizabethEPA on Apr 11, 2024

Rooms are updated and clean. Showers don’t fully close which makes them cold. Don’t go if you want to use the pool. They have taken away most of the free pool chairs near the pool. Very few free pool chairs. Chairs near the pool available for a price. Would pick a different hotel.

Filthy, bad customer service

gabrielle b on Apr 11, 2024

You could NOT pay me to stay at Harrah’s again or The Linq for that matter since they’re in the same vicinity. I encourage guests to check the room they’re placed in and especially pull back the sheets before you hop in bed. I booked a getaway for my birthday. It was a busy weekend so check in was long, which is typical. Once I got to my room I did a quick walk around. The room was filthy. Visible splatters on the wall, dirty stained sheets, stained towels and a nasty toilet all to the naked eye. I went downstairs and said I wanted a new room, they said they were booked up and I had to give housekeeping a chance to service it (as if it didn’t need a deep cleaning). Once housekeeping supervisor came through and inspected I got placed in another room. You wouldn’t believe it, new room same issue. I’m not going to bow down because they switched rooms. I told them my concerns and housekeeping changed linen. I was so tired I went to sleep. Later that night I got woken up from a call, front desk manager Genesis Gonzalez. With an attitude she says I can be upgraded to a suite if I came downstairs now or they would rescind the offer. Once I got there I had to go back downstairs and wait, it had to be opened by maintenance. I asked if the room was inspected before they put me there, she said yes. The sheets had literal feces in them. I was livid. I asked her why place me somewhere that was dirty if she knew my issue? By this time it was 1am, I checked in at 6pm. I asked for her boss’ name she said “I choose not to give that information.” I asked for security I wanted them to be there as a buffer while we were going back and forth she said “I’m not going to call.” I asked why, she said cause she doesn’t have to and they would be checking me out at 1am (with nowhere to go). I was boiling. She then calls security on me and tells them I’m going around inspecting each room “nitpicking” and causing issues. Her back up manager Mark chimes in and says I could be barred from all Caesar’s properties for arguing with her about my right to a clean room. The service is despicable and housekeeping needs to be investigated by the Southern Nevada Health District. They have so many health code violations it’s outrageous. I will be reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau. I recommend downtown Boyd properties any day. Photos are from three different rooms.

For your safety, Do Not stay here

andreatY5887SD on Apr 09, 2024

I regret staying here! The day after our arrival, we were shocked to discover a USED CONDOM left behind in our assigned room. To make it worse, IT WAS NOT THERE the first day we arrived!!!!!!!! It is deeply troubling to think that someone can enter your hotel room when you are not there and have sex. How is it possible this could occur in an establishment that is expected to adhere to strict health and safety standards? Hotel Managers were negligent. We immediately brought this to them and they seemed indifferent to our concerns and requests. This was a security and sanitary issue, and they did nothing.
