My wife and I just got back from a beautiful vacation at this resort. The staff were as friendly and attentive as can be. Our Member Services Manager Stathis Aparicio was outstanding. He was very personal and made us feel like royalty. Thank you Stathis for your great customer service. I would like to mention a few people that made our experience extra special. Mariel and Claudia from the Preferred Lounge, Rosa from Himitsu, and Dario from Oceana. Thank you for making our vacation extra special. Hope to see you again soon. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. The people are as friendly as can be. Visit them and you will see for yourself. Pura Vida!

Stayed here this weekend for just a couple days and it was so relaxing... So the drive to the resort is LONG like really long about an hour and twenty minutes, but you know what it’s so worth it.. you literally feel like you’ve escaped to the most beautiful deserted jungle resort nestled literally in the middle of the jungle! I could not stop staring everywhere here and the photo I took from my balcony will be going on my wall at home just so magical ! Felt like it was fake you could hear so many birds chirping and monkeys and the waves and the sunset my gosh just the best!! Some tips Get a high floor in the main building which is where the restaurants are and that makes you pretty close to everything and that’s where the good view is. We had room 4702 it was fabulous! So one thing there was a lot of kids... I have kids didn’t take them with me here so cant complain but there was a lot of kids... this would be a perfect adult only resort sorry people who bring kids.. very very kid friendly! Read some other reviews about people’s encounters with staff and we had nothing but good experiences with all staff so very polite and humble. Shout out to Jefferson at the pool bar he was so kind and happy love to see someone love their job !! Don’t listen to anyone about drinks they were good and well poured! Food was great no waits easy to get a table, the beach was super easy to access there were vendors on the beach selling stuff but didn’t harass you at all like they do in like Cabo etc they were very polite. Saw the monkeys on the beach which was super cool and the beach water was clear and clean and lovely! 100 percent great trip and experience thank you everyone at dreams for making it a dream come true for us !

I have almost 25 years Hospitality for for a major Hotel chain, Im in management. My job at times was to go to other hotels and solve problems. My Wife and I decided to try something different out of the major chain of hotels that I work for.. I have to say I have never seen a Resort Managed so well. with a Phenomenal staff that all seem to enjoy there work. Everyone here smiles Everything was spotless They have amenities to keep someone of all ages busy if so desired. And if you want to just relax you are able to do just that. If your worried about the language barrier (don't) This staff tries and does a great job on there English speaking skills. I would like to mention again. I work for a major chain Hotel to solve problems. I have to speak with the Management staff and at times the owners to find ways to make improvements. I see NONE that need to be made here! I was so impressed I asked to speak with the General Manager. But being a Sunday he surely earned a well deserved day off. So the Concierge directed me to Natalia the assistant General Manager. She spent time with my wife and I and told us about the hotel and the staff. Natalia is a wonderful person and a good leader. I never met The General Manger William Rojas. But I wish I did to thank him for having such a will run hotel and staff. Hopefully I will be able to meet Mr.Rojas on are next trip to thank him in person. .5 star Hotel

My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica for our Anniversary get-away. We were greated by a smiling staff and offered champagne at check in. Our room was wonderful. There was a Happy Anniversary banner on the door, and on the bed there was a heart made out of coffee beans. This was a very welcoming touch. Everyone at the restaurants, pools, room service, concierge, check-in desks, bell boys, were always smiling and wanting to help guests. My husband and I met the Assistant Manager, Natalia, who took time out of her day to listen to how our stay was. There are definitely a lot of activities to do. Kayaking, fishing, paddle surfing, dance lessons, water aerobics, nature walks etc. I really enjoyed the water aerobics with Mary. She really attracted a lot of people to join in. We had only gone on one excursion, but it was great. Our tour guide Kevin was very informatve, answered questions and definitely went out of his way for our group. This resort has alot of positive energy and smiling faces which I definitely needed. I would highly recommend this resort. I know that I am coming back! Pura Vida!

Me and my boyfriend traveled along to Costa Rica with many friends and family for a destination wedding. We arrived on 10/9/19 and left on 10/12/19. As it was a short trip, we got to experience much of what the resort had to offer. Of course our first day there we spent a few hours too many in the pool enjoying the bottomless drinks and beautiful view. Some drink that is great to try is a “Dirty Monkey”. Next to the pool they have a seafood restaurant that serves up quite the dish- my favorite was the Blackened Salmon and Strawberries and Cream for desert. As always it’s advised to rehydrate but this know it all 21 year old blonde didn’t take the sun as serious as she should of and I developed QUITE the burn wearing SPF 70. As a side note, make sure that you pack both sunblock and aloe because the gift shop prices are not for the lighthearted. Either way, they had the necessities in their gift shop. I ended up getting severely dehydrated and ended up calling their house doc in to get checked out. She was very quick to come to our room and ended up supplying me with proper meds to get me back on my feet (I’m very grateful). We spent one of our mornings out with the Amstar fishing excursion which only cost $107 per person with a boat full of 5 people (price goes down the more you have). Our fishing adventure was not as eventful as we wished, but anyone who fishes knows that there are days that the fish just don’t bite. As we went along for our boat ride we got to see more of Costa Rica than the shore had to offer. A great side note here is whatever you catch (besides sword fish and rooster fish) you can take it up to the seafood grill and eat it for lunch! We spotted sea turtles, white tuna, and even two whales! One day while in the pool eight monkeys were on the beach and that was a site to see as well. The resort had paddle boards, snorkeling gear, and kayaks that were free of charge to use on the beach. Staff is very quick to be there to help and are very happy and grateful. The rooms come stocked with a steamer/iron. The rooms were cleaned often and kept very clean. Some main points to hit are: •pack long slacks for men- some restaurants require them •Japanese restaurant requires a reservation so set it up as soon as you get there •pack aloe and sunblock (High SPF) •you do not need to exchange your currency for theirs- they use US dollars •30 yo and older you can listen to them talk about a timeshare and their resort for 45 minutes while you eat lunch and receive $100 towards anything in the resort- including amstar excursions. The only thing that I wish I could change about this resort would be how far the buildings are away from the pools- if you have trouble walking try to look up a map of the resort and see if you can adjust your room location to suit you best. I enjoyed this resort very much, and I am grateful I was able to visit.
