    My party and I have been attempting to cancel our AUG reservation since JUN, and have been unsuccessful. I have called, sent multiple emails, and even filled out the online form via there website. I even talked to the reservation department at the actual resort and was told the reservation department would give me a call back pithing 48 hours. That promise was made over a month ago. I was initially calling to cancel and reschedule my trip at later day, but after this experience I have no intention of ever staying at Dreams Las Mareas or any AMResorts. I just want my parties money refunded.

    Booked through Snap Travel. Stayed for 5 days. The adult pool area is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! THE water spa is a MUST!! STAFF EXTREMELY HELPFUL& FRIENDLY. 5STAR SERVICE. This was my first time visiting Costa Rica. I decided to do a resort because I didn't want to have to cook it search for activities. It was an hour or more drive from the airport but Well WortH it!! I booked the swim out suite!! Worth the price and great service.

    I stayed at this resort with my wife. We've had 8 Dreams Holidays in the last 10 years and actually 2nd time at this resort. Our 2018 holiday was superb. This one left such a poor taste in my mouth we will never again stay in Dreams resorts. In short, a "bait & switch" with wine ordered left me with a much higher bill. This was the best part, the manager (Alexander) lacked any professionalism and instead of trying to solve his guest's problem, he opted to escalate the issue and turn what was a good time at the resort in a never again experience with Dreams. I've followed up with customer service and honestly never felt any ownership on the issue was taken or any real attempt to make a wrong right. Why have people forgotten to simply say "We're Sorry"? I'd recommend staying in a resort that want's your "expensive" business and will treat you right.

    What a great trip! The pools and greenery at the resort were obviously very taken care of. All staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The only real complaint I have was that my fiance wasnt able to wear a tank top to even the buffet, it had to be a short sleeve shirt at all times. While I don't see an issue in this, I saw plenty of women with only bikinis on top, meaning no shirt of any kind. If you're going to uphold a standard it should be for all genders.

    The facility was beautiful, the rooms were great, The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food was excellent with so many choices and so fresh and interesting. We were at the resort during the time that Costa Rica close their borders so we didn’t have a lot of people at the resort, but they treated us perfectly. We were worried about the staff after everyone left because they said they would be closing the hotel for three months but they told us that the owner of the company had decided to pay them during the time that they were off. I guess this was the only place in Costa Rica that was going to do this for their people. That made us very happy as we left knowing that these people would be taken care of.
