I stayed here April 1-3 for A Touch of Disney and my 30th birthday. I did have a heavily discount travel agent rate, and I think I would have been less pleased if I was paying rack rate. I had completed check in through the BonVoy app and when I arrived at 2pm, my room was ready, and I was not charged an early check in fee (a nice surprise!). I was assigned Room 325 on the backside of the hotel, looking over the Hilton hotels in the back parking lot and further to I-5. The room was perfectly adequate for my 2 night stay. No USB ports but lots of outlets and the ability to stream on the TV from your personal accounts. No issues with internet generally. The freeway noise didn’t bother me much. The loud A/C unit, the noisy children in the room next door, and the alarm clock going off at 2am did. A previous poster said earplugs were provided in the room; I did not see any but I would have liked them! Nice toiletries, bed was a little firm but pillows were very comfortable. Hard to beat the location, but with so many of the businesses closed - even boarded up - on the walk to Disneyland, it felt slightly unsafe walking back after dark, and I was glad I found a family to tag along with. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful. I reserved pool time with no issue, but it would have been nice to know in advance that they were not providing towels in the pool area. This was not noted anywhere: when I reserved the pool time, in my pre-arrival email, or on the info sheet provided at check in. Small, small “lobby market” has drinks and snacks/candy. The gift shop is currently open select evenings, and be aware they require a $5 minimum to use a credit card. They do block off the driveway at night. I’m not sure if this is typical, but they used a large passenger van to do so. I was not thrilled about this when my Uber came at 4:30am to take me to the airport and couldn’t actually approach the hotel’s pickup area to get me. There is a nice seating area outside the front doors though. Saw one family come back in from the pool, not wearing any shoes, dripping water all over the floors as they walked to the elevator. Shoes are your friend! Just gross. The dresser drawers and safe in the room were enormous. Definitely large enough for a family, if needed. The toilet required several flushes each time, as all waste would flush away and then the toilet paper “pulp” would float back up. I’ve never witnessed anything quite like it, seems like a waste of water. I might stay again in the future but there are other area hotels, on and off Disney property, that I would like to try first.

We visited to go to Downtown Disney for my daughter’s 10th birthday. I contacted the hotel and spoke with Nanette, because I wanted to purchase a birthday package to make it extra special for my daughter. When I told Nanette, she explained they didn’t have anything like that available right now, but acknowledged how difficult quarantine birthdays are and said she’d do something nice for her. My daughter was so excited when we entered the room to find a gift full of Disney goodies! It made her feel so special. I was blown away with the service we received and the team really went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special. We look forward to staying at the hotel again once Disney opens back up!

Instead of our annual week long holiday Disneyland trip we decided to do a quick overnight stay to hop over to downtown Disney for some Christmas shopping. We have never stayed off site, and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Very clean. Greattttt views of the park, can only imagine in non-covid times what that nighttime view is with the park lights on and fireworks. Very clean room. I took my Lysol wipes and hit the usual spots, looked around for any sign the room wasn’t clean but it was definitely clean, updated and maintained. I asked for additional blankets before we checked in knowing I am always cold, they were two right on the bed for when we checked in. Later in the evening my husband ran out for food but forgot ketchup..... I used the Marriott app text feature to ask if they sold any ketchup in the marketplace, they said unfortunately no, but they ended up finding some for me and had it delivered to the room. So kind! Was really impressed with the service. The wall to downtown Disney was super simple. Maybe a 5 min walk. Heads up, right now, everything to eat within the area of the hotel is closed. Panera was closed, McDonald’s was closed..... but great location if you need a place walkable to the harbor side entry of Disney.

I believe this is how hotels should operate. Very professional front desk. Property is clean. Rooms are clean. I appreciate that very much. Great area to be in. There’s even staff parroting the parking lot at night.

While not a luxury hotel, it was clean and the staff was excellent. The ability to walk from the parks to the hotel was unmatched. The elevators were a little slow in the morning as people all tried to leave for the park at opening time. There is a Panera in the parking lot for breakfast.
