Excellent stay! Two things I really appreciate are courtesy and consideration. Carlos at the front desk surpassed our expectations! Super friendly, polite and very helpful. A very special "thank you" to Carlos. We will be returning in 2 weeks. The staff was excellent, the ambiance, the visitors, the pool! 5-star rating!
for the money, expected better...

Hope you dont need to contact front desk while here, its an insurmountable task. They take forever if they have anyone before you, and they will actually ignore you if they are on a phone call. They will spend 20 minutes with someone inquiring about the property on the phone, rather than help a person who has spent money to be there already. Also hard to reach by phone in the room.
AMAZING HOTEL

Going to Melia was amazing. One thing that made our stay at Melia 5 times better was our waiter Raul he took amazing care of my family . Raul was friendly caring and he would go out of his way to make sure our stay at Melia was the best it could possibly be. Raul has been the best waiter in my entire life if I where to rate him on a scale 1-10 he would be a 100000.Another thing we appreciated was the DJ at the pool they had games for kids to play and music to keep everyone entertained. This hotel was very clean comfy and not far from the theme parks. This is a great place to stay I highly recommend it
Don’t stay here

Horrible visit. Started with only one person at the front desk, taking forever to check in. The process takes way too long and for no reason. A couple of nights in my friend and I decide to chill by pool and order food/drinks. At no point did our waitress inform us that there was a $5 poolside service fee or that we would be charged an 18% gratuity. The service took forever and on top of that, waitress was super forgetful. We ordered nachos and onion rings that took an hour to get to us and when they did they were room temperature by that point. We luckily got the 18% taken off the bill. Then one night after returning to the hotel, we asked the front desk to send us towels (bath and hand towels) to our room. They came 30 minutes later, where a clearly employed and uniformed runner came banging on our door, there was another older man with him who was not in uniform and didn’t say anything. I assumed possibly training but again nothing to indicate this. We only received bath towels but since it was a little after 9 and we needed to be up early, we decided to let it go for the night. Besides our phone wouldn’t connect to front desk and didn’t want to walk back again. My friend and I went to sleep and were awakened by persistent banging on our door. Terrified, we didn’t say anything because we didn’t know who was at our door at nearly 11 PM at night. We waited, more banging, then a man said “runner.” We still didn’t say anything or even move from the bed , when the runner UNLOCKED our door and OPENED it. Thankfully we had the stopper over the door, so he wasn’t able to enter. But my friend and I were terrified. We had never experienced such an occurrence while staying at a hotel. That never should have happened. What would he have done if he came inside? A few minutes after he shut the door and left, front desk called and asked if we still needed our towels as the runner was unable to give them to us due to no one answering. Why did the runner come back after giving us our towels and if they had been the hand towels that weren’t brought to us to begin with, why not mention they would be bringing them later if they were unavailable? How did the runner think opening a guests door at night is okay? We both felt completely unsafe after that. We did speak to manager who apologized and could only offer us complimentary drinks as if that could take away our terror from the previous night and assured us that the issue would be handled and the runner’s retrained but it didn’t feel like it was handled to the level or extent it needed to. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and advice anyone considering a stay to look elsewhere.

I stayed at the resort from March 29 - April 2nd 2021. I wish I could put more than 5 stars because their so very well deserving of it all. From the moment I checked they staff made us feel welcome and so attentive. Carlos was absolutely AMAZING, and Brian at the bar was the best and makes the absolute best drinks. The suites was so beautiful and well cleaned. I love that they had the free shuttles to the major parks. This was my 1st of many times thanks Melia for making this vacation memorable for my family and I.
